Tactics Counter attacking 4-1-2-2-1

Hey guys thought I’d share this tactic with you all. I seem to be having a really good time of it lately by using it. Currently unbeaten in the premier league and scoring lots of goals also. So without further ado....

Please feel free to test this further, I’ve only tested with the single team as of now so have no idea how it would work in the lower leagues. Not very well I’m guessing with the player roles, but it seems to do the job with a top team. Any questions feel free to ask.

I would but tactic is very fitness heavy, might try it with some strong club at one point tho

Looks very similar to a tactic I tried out last year with about the same level of success. Seems like a very solid tactic, congrats!

It does take its toll on fitness I must admit, a lot of rotation and you’re good however

Also counter attacking football requires pacey players with superior technique, if its brought into fmm properly this tac would only fit certain teams..which is kinda cool tbh

I have tried this tactic with my Arsenal team..no signings and so far 6/6 from the league scoring 16 conceding 0, however my 3 cbs have an average rating of 6.5 each, even though they have kept 6 consecutive clean sheets ? Also my GK is 6.76 rating, have you found the same problems?

3 CB’s? There’s only 2 in the tactic ? to be honest I don’t really pay attention to player ratings as I find they don’t truly reflect their performance. Especially the holding midfielder ? that’s a cracking start with it however, well done mate

Tried with Man Utd, won the PL & CL first season and won everything for the next 2 seasons. Signed mostly young players with IT. AF scored the most and winger assists a lot. The DLP always rated lower than the rest of the team no matter who I played on the position (bug I think?)

Good going that ?? Yeah I believe that’s a long lasting bug since 2015 I believe? Well done, thanks for trying it ?
