I am finding the game harder this year, thats not a bad thing though, as it means I will have to think more about it...

In previous years, I have just ran the OME regardless of device, found 2 or 3 tactics what worked and changed them round, there was not much to think about in all honesty. This year the tactics are a bit more complex, which leaves me with a dilemma, do I stick with the OME which is perfect for how I like to play or do I try the EME.

With it being a new game with a new look tactics wise, I guess I am leaning towards the EME at the moment.

Football Manager Mobile 18 for me is like when Championship Manager 97/98 evolved into Championship Manager 3, there was a degree of difficulty to it and took me months to get my head round it.

I guess that with the older versions I took it for granted that I would be succesful in the game, and this year is a reminder that, like real life, I dont have a god given to success, title after title, champions league upon champions league wins.

This years game will be interesting tackling the tactics and using my brain to make it work.

I think SI have got it right for me this year in that they have made a product will truly test me 

What is you guys general feel for the game, positive or negative, does the tactic system work for you and what do you think SI have got right or wrong

Still haven't played it properly yet so can't really say much. You're actually one of the few people who find it harder as there's been so many threads here saying it's too easy

I think the difficulty is because he is playing on OME. I am finding the same, the OME is WAY different this year. 

All the 'Too easy' comments are from those players using the EME I believe.

It's like they have the engines mixed up, i think the OME should of been EME....

Yeah, I am playing OME.

Performance wise the OME is perfect for my needs, it reminds me very much of the game I came to love in 1997, apart from the fact I would love to see more in-depth editors for the game, the OME has it all for me.

Probably a daft theory, but could SI have ramped up the difficulty on the OME to convince players to move to the EME?

I will give it a go, see if I can find what works for me and plod on with it.

What engine you play mate? What Tactics etc...I look forward to what you have to say, this old dog can do with learning some new tricks lol ?

Ok so here is why i think the EME is too easy this year already. I made a tactic, and as always, I tested it using stoke, a stock stoke. No signings.

I have never been tactically minded myself, made a few in the past, but I rely on Vibe for a lot of mine
