I tried many tactics for FMM18 but the only worked for me was when I went striker less with two inside forwards.

Guys, let's be a bit honest here.

I'm seeing far too many people posting some "tactic" using R.Madrid or Man utd ( big big clubs, with GREAT PLAYERS) showing off results. I think it is NORMAL to have great results once you are managing a big club and you are buying best-in-slot players. 

Challenge yourself not using sugar daddy, playing with a small/medium club, and it's going to be hard for the first seasons. ( once you convert the squad and brig better quality players).

I've tried using tactics to get my ST to score alot of goals but didn't quite manage it untill i turned all my AMRL to wingers and helping with 2x AP's and BWM/DLP. Dunno what tactics you're using to score heaploads of goals, but some tactics i've seen and tried are really bad unless you're R.Madrid or Man City.
