Career Cockers **Completes** The Latin Europe Challenge - 2018

This was one of those Challenges I wanted to complete before 2018 Version was released, but sadly after a few attempts, I gave up!!!!

Thanks to @BatiGoal original Latin Europe Challenge I am attempting this on the new 2018 Version

So my challenge begins as previously in ITALY, then to France, followed by Portugal, and then finishes in Spain

Along the way Breaking the Goal tally for an individual Striker as I move across Europe

The difference this time, is I am going to hopefully smash it, and get my name on the Leaderboard (if @danovic78 will be kind as to add to the Challenge Index List), this time before @Taff hopefully

So to start I have selected the mighty Juventus

Striker to get me through this stage is non-only Paulo Dybala

   

I've created my own Tactics that I believe to be a winning formula plus one that will assist the main striker, my first season should be relatively easy with a championship winning club and world cup stars.

I won't be writing so much as to bore everyone to death, but simply showing the correct images to tell the story as it goes along, hopefully this time successfully

Good luck Cockers, this was the most fun out of @BatiGoal‘s 3 goal based challenges, but the Spain leg is a tough one with 80+ goals needed, but I’m sure you’ll smash it

Thanks @Taff as you know I couldn't complete this one which frustrated me, I'm going to think hard about team changes, Tactics and watching how the Striker plays to save him from injuries and poor morale, which I believe can disrupt their performances quiet a lot.

Update...

So my First stage is well under way, with the team doing well as expected with my new tactic, and Dybala as always is banging them in for fun, but not as constantly as I would like...

Come November, he was doing better than previous months, which quickly added to his Tally...

So at this stage he had scored 24 in his first 16 games, which is exactly where I wanted him...

One strange action during January made me laugh, in 2017 Chelsea loaned Juventus Juan Cuadrado, but in the 2018 version he is a permanent player for Juv who purchased him for £17.75M according to his History.

What happens next just simply made me giggle, and at the same time confused me?

Yep, I played him twice with an average rating of 6.50, then as you can see Chelsea bought him off me for £33Million, what????

Update...

Season 1 and Stage 1 Over, my Managerial History looked promising already, Then...

 

Got the Montpellier Job, this will test my Tactics...

My instincts was to pick the following areas for my striker:

Ariel - 12+

Strength - 12+

Pace - 12+

Movement - 12+

Stamina - 15+

Shooting - 15+

This search criteria highlighted the only player capable of them statistics and who I could afford was:

SERGI ENRICH

So my Striker for Stage 2 is Sergi Enrich from Eibar for £1.2M

I knew this wouldn't be an instant success in this League with PSG, OL, Monaco etc

Enrich started well for me:

His scoring tally added to him being awarded Foreign Player of the Year

So his tally continued, my season was getting better and better as the months went by...

I had clearly bought the right man, 35 goals in his first 25 games for me...

My first Trophy with Montpellier...

So Season 2 and Stage 2, how did it end...

New Record...

Sergi Enrich 2018 - 2019 Montpellier 54 Goals...

Second in my first season was ok, need to look at my defence Tactic to make the next couple of stages work...

Season 2 in charge of Montpellier begins well, I will continue until the Portugal job comes knocking on my door...

So Season 3 of my Challenge comes to an end, with Enrich doing the business for me, but again I fall short of getting any more records...

Yep the SLB job, couldn't ask for a better club, I know this is a good club to take into Stage 3...

Cheers @Taff, I'm going to search for the best striker available to me before worrying about the Record in this Stage, building my team probably for the next season rather than this one, but it is early days, only 4 games into the season?

Update...

So my Strikers for SLB...

Alan Junior, his record says he isn't the best and maybe not the man to take me forward...

Raul Jimenez, looked good, show's potential, but...

I played a few games up until January window 2022 and realised I needed a much more dependable striker who has all the right credentials...

Step up...

Yep, this is him, Andrei Ivan picked from many, normal attributes I look for in a striker on their own getting all the goals, and there is room for improvement...

I knew this was a building season, get a better team and improve the whole complexion of the team and club

He was amazing in my first season, he showed so much potential, for example...

6 Goals in 1 game and in an away game, the record is mine to beat, and this is my guy to do it...

My season got better as I went along, the email of email's arrived in my in-tray...

I won the Premier League first shout, and truthfully I was amazed, didn't expect to beat FCP to the top spot...

Next came another surprise...

Taca De Portugal was mine, this can only lift the spirits of the team and help the club invest in me to improve the squad even more...

So Season 1 in charge of SLB was over, and Season 5 of the Challenge was more successful that i could of thought...

My striker you ask...

Well if these are the figures to work from, next season should be a blast, 35 goals in 27 games can only be a good thing right...

I like to mix it up, sometimes it can unveil a superstar that wouldn't normally be mentioned, hopefully Ivan will smash the record so I can move to Spain.

What does worry me, if anybody attempts the UK challenge, how hard it will be to move to other teams in other countries, because I found moving  from big clubs so far a pain to be truthful, even being successful in Italy didn't guarantee me anything, I was still looked over plenty of times before getting the Montpellier job, SLB was lucky as the previous manager took over a INT team leaving the gate open for me.
