Career Rjgreeno attempts the Latin Europe Challenge

After seeing @Cockers2505 attempt this challenge created by @BatiGoal (Link) it got me wanting to give it a try again. You can find his attempt here.

I do apologise in advance for the first 4 seasons as these updates will not be very detailed as I didn't take many screenshots.

 

Season 1

The Team I chose to do the first stage of this challenge was AC Milan.

So apart from a poor showing in Europe I thought it was a good season but the only thing that was really important was how my chosen striker got on.

 

The Player

I decided to go with someone already at the club. As you can see below he just about made it I think it was a combination of trying different tactics and him constantly needing to adjust to the club.

 

So that's stage one done time to move on to France for stage two. My other next choice of player is going to have to do a lot better if I want to make it to stage three

Season 2

Not to much in this update just waiting for a job in France

Had to sell Andre Silva cause he kept annoying me wanting a new contract.

Season 3

Again sorry for the short post. I forgot to take any screen shots in the first half of the season as I managed to get a job in France after 2 and a half seasons of applying for every job that became available. Eventually I did get a job in France as you will see below.

I brought in a whole new defence with Lienhart following me from Italy along with 2  wingers as Lyon were lacking in this department. Patricio was also brought in as the goalkeeper at the club was very poor I did try and get lopes back but he signed a new deal with Real Madrid.

 

OUT

Just got rid of unwanted players and was happy with the money I got for them.

Hoped for a lot better after picking them up in 12th but had to settle for 6th place.

Euro Cup

Even though I was disappointed in the league position was delighted to pick up my first trophy with the club guarantees us champions cup football next season.

French Cup

Another trophy to add to the cabinet even if I needed a bit of luck to do so.

 

Overall I was happy with the season. I managed to get a job in France, pick up some trophies and started to shape the team to how I wanted. All that I needed now was a player to break the record with. find out who in the next update.

@Rjgreeno looking good mate, remember to give your striker his well deserved rest against the bigger sides sometimes, that way you rest him for the smaller clubs where you can smash a few extra goals for his tally, good luck mate

I started to do this later on it and had mixed results sometimes on the game the striker came back in he failed to score for 2 or 3 games or sometimes he score 8 goals and other crazy amounts

Annoying to go out in the first round even more so as it was my old team the knocked me out, but I was very poor in the first leg and deserved to be knocked out.

Really expected more from Alcacer having used him previously looks like I'll have to try again next season. He was injured a lot and struggled to get going when he was back.

This came completely out of the blue. I was playing him while Alcacer was getting used to the club and recovering from injuries. Then around January I had a look at his stats and he was on 40 something goals. So I went with him as my striker in the end and he smashed the record.

 

I was happy with the season a couple off days lost us silverware but the player made up for it now time for Portugal

Using was a complete accident tbh but he showed he is top quality might have to pick him up in other careers

That's always the best way to fall in love when you least expect it . A lot of my 1kc's involved players I'd found on jump around saves as it gives you a connection to the player compared to just stat searching a beast

True there is quite a few players I found in this save that I will probably buy in other careers that I probably would never have found otherwise

A lot of players come in to strengthen my defence. Kondogbia is the main man to come in and improve my midfield adding more pace and power.

Awful start to the season. Benfica players were just a lot more clinical than us

Going out in the semis is disappointing but I think Porto deserved the win in the end

I was very annoyed at this to dominate the game and then to loose on penalties.

Good league campaign least goals against as well as the most goals for

Even game and we finally got some luck in a penalty shootout

 

The Player

Managed to pick him up for free and he looks like the man to complete this stage with.

Lets see how he got on

Never really got going which was a shame I still have belief in him for next season as he started to hit form near the end bar the last 2 games.

 

Overall it was an ok season could of won more trophies if we practiced penalties more often was also disappointed with Tammy but I know he can do better that why I will stick with him.

Second season is always better. Tho you did well in the league scoring 92 goals. Looks like the goals are still too much spread out. Tammy should've gotten at least half of them.
