No chance to skive at home unlike when you are at work?

Despite the dramas I hope you have enjoyed your holiday.

Once again I want to apologise for the long wait but here it is.

MRI

Season 1

So after a lengthy delay, I can now update you all on the first season of this insane career attempt of mine

In Case anyone forgot the aim of this career is to take Mbappe, Rashford and Isak to 3000 goals (1000 each) and all three have been brought into PSG (Couldn't use Mbappe anywhere else)

So without further ado here we Go

First let's look at the transfer dealings as this was a huge part of my first season, after deciding to use a 343, I needed to add and release players to build the squad I wanted

Transfers

Spoiler

In

IMG_6711.thumb.PNG.7a22209eee39372d3fb3ef0c694ebab1.PNGIMG_6712.thumb.PNG.6ae9aaf90586b20ce85b92d1d0a43fe8.PNG

OK so I spent almost £540M on new players, but considering my three new strikers cost a combined £260M then I still really over spent.  Using 3 at the back meant getting in extra bodies, so Laporte, Koulibly and Manolas all came in to help out.  Havertz and Goretzka came in to strengthen my options in CM and Arnautovic came in as a double sided Winger option, and finally Dendoncker (who I think is class as either a CD, DM or CM) and all for £15M

Out

Some surprising names going out, but the offers were flying in before I really looked and needed the cash so...

IMG_6713.thumb.PNG.5c0fa148686673e2df0a94f691b4c3ea.PNGIMG_6714.thumb.PNG.05352086e97c501fa2eba84f4212ffff.PNG

Out go Moura, Cavani and Silva, along with CB's Alves, Kurzawa, Rabiot played half a season but wanted out so I let him go in January, then Jese, Guedes and Bahabeck all of whom were on loan and couldn't be recalled were offered out and sold as well, along with others I deemed unuseful

So the squad has had it's major overhaul, and now it's onto the challenge and getting my boys 1000 goals each.

Here's how my first season went

Spoiler

Domestic

We began the Season with the Trophee des Champions against AS Monaco, and my three new strikers mark their new territory very well

IMG_6629.thumb.PNG.045b52ee69a32d0c873a9ea6a33daebc.PNG

5-2 winners with 4 goals for my new strikers and a great start to the campaign

The league went as smooth as could be expected

IMG_6701.thumb.PNG.2ea293727e91c3be501f0cf0b81f3624.PNG

We blew the competition away, smashing over 130 goals over the year and leaving Monaco 24 points in our wake

Monaco also had to face us in the Coupe de la Ligue Final and well, that went as well as the rest of their season

IMG_6697.thumb.PNG.52340710a6b9dd39a13ad32a805cc1ef.PNG

4 from Mbappe and one from Rashford helps seal a 7-4 win (ok our defence hasn't helped this year) but thats the third time Monaco have been left in our rear view mirror

The French Cup final was not as straight forward

IMG_6700.thumb.PNG.bcd527862a2e78779c59e7835b2e2fa1.PNG

We required a penalty shootout win to claim the trophy after Rennes pushed us hard, and this was one of the worst shootouts I had ever seen, but we clinched it thanks to Goretzka and we complete a season of domestic dominance

Europe

We began with the Champions league group stage which saw us drawn against Seville, Chelsea and Olympiakos

IMG_6632.thumb.PNG.3ec59011578d465968f5519ff405d2c7.PNG

Seville and Chelsea held us to a draw a piece, but we then went on to win the other four games and clinch the group and then moved on through the knockout rounds, facing Spurs, Liverpool and FCP on our way to the Final to face Real Madird

IMG_6702.thumb.PNG.6b5b55858e4a980773bb2e219c85f3a3.PNG

Where a tight contest saw the game end 3-3. then both teams scored in ET to take us to a Penalty shootout that we once again managed to win

So all in all a very successful season for PSG, but now onto the main event and let's look at our MRI results

First off here's how the boys look after their first season

IMG_6703.thumb.PNG.270425b5c4d3120dbacdfb30362c837d.PNG

Some great looking stats here for a 19 y/o, and he had a great season, and was the only one not to miss significant time through injury, and his season was awarded

Spoiler

IMG_6668.thumb.PNG.faf07d3fc675705c6da4261c1f4e0d7e.PNGIMG_6722.thumb.PNG.53ae2edd305e60a65119f1fac9276df2.PNGIMG_6724.thumb.PNG.953a39e830a0fd81d1c595b85a196c17.PNGIMG_6725.thumb.PNG.b87b0672bc3327b365648f3a898d8868.PNGIMG_6726.thumb.PNG.24fa528000bb446898975126c31567ab.PNG

IMG_6705.thumb.PNG.c319e211c82e0d331167e1237e1d12d1.PNG

Not quite the same level as Mbappe, but again he's only 20 and has time to improve, but he did miss some time

IMG_6631.thumb.PNG.7d6e4a6749d145e65797681d34236ffa.PNG

IMG_6707.thumb.PNG.8fe81795e01516270bb20741c5e93610.PNG

Our youngest player looks good, but the weakest of the three for now, but his aerial is an important attribute the other two are missing, and just like Rashford, he missed some time this year

IMG_6633.thumb.PNG.d919d6b7fa952e8e7318958feb8fd19d.PNG

less than a month after Rashford, but these were the only major injuries over the year

So how did my three do

IMG_6704.thumb.PNG.37660c0fd89f18a03f1057abe3f04cc5.PNG

Mbappe, shows why he's valued so highly netting 61 in 60 games

IMG_6706.thumb.PNG.f5e4fe8df12872e599c62e035ccf45fc.PNG

Rashford also showed his class netting 52 in 51

IMG_6708.thumb.PNG.25afb8d871d2a719755d4e890e74724d.PNG

Isak not quite as prolific netting 34 in 47

So here's the totals so far

5a48ea54d4d82_MRIInfoseason1.thumb.png.2eda7b7ece249de7c46e9ecf2dc4b38b.thumb.png.098511f6a3d7d04e7e36b5d570dbf92c.png

(Huge thanks to @FestiveFox for more of his amazing Graphics Work here)

So a decent first season, let's just hope the boys can continue to improve

Here's the stats, fixtures and awards for anyone who wants to see them

Spoiler

Team Stats

IMG_6709.thumb.PNG.8399ae8525657204aaa73d0287eed187.PNG

So my three main boys topping the chart with Neymar, Arnautovic and Draxler the next three top scorers

IMG_6710.thumb.PNG.1e63551ed5ca9848e324e8de213dcff9.PNG

My big surprise here is that two of my new strikers top the assist chart as well laying on almost 50 goals between them (need them to be more selfish), then Di Maria, and Havertz who had 41 assists between them show their class as well

Fixtures

Teams of the Year

IMG_6723.thumb.PNG.34f1641107ad632948c78c6ae5375bd3.PNG

9 from 11 players in the Ligue 1 Team of the Year are my players, showing just how dominant we have been

IMG_6727.thumb.PNG.d2c888ac401b5ae6b504839638d3a8d4.PNG

8/11 in the Stars of the Ligue 1 Team of the Year

and 4/11 in the World XI of the season

Not too Shabby

So there you have it guys, again sorry for the delay, but hope you enjoyed the update and season 2 will be with you very soon

Cheers for now Taff Out

Great first season mate.

Dani Alves being sold to Juve for £30m made me chuckle as they let him go to PSG for free in the first place! Gotta love FMM sometimes:laugh:

Impressive start, mate. Better to not focus too much on that massive goal and just score score score season after season and see what numbers your MRI have to show for in the end ;)

My thoughts exactly BG, If I focus on the end goal I'll pack this in after 5 seasons, just need to take it season by season and see where we are

It's crazy money for both him and Mbappe, but if they come good all is forgiven, I've found the transfers seem to be matching the crazy money that's being spend everywhere at the minute, certain players are bargains, but some they want crazy money for (i.e. £110M for a 19 y/o kid who's valued at £30M)

MRI

Season 2

So after a decent start we head into season 2 looking to simply keep up the scoring, as my friend @BatiGoal said, I'm not looking at the final goal just now, the aim is simply getting MRI to score consistently (obviously if they could all have 100+ goal seasons that would be amazing), but right now just scoring is the only thing that matters

So as always let's dive in, and first check on the transfer dealings for the season

Transfers

Spoiler

In

IMG_6800.thumb.PNG.db51a7045d9e17cca5799cf95f33a9a3.PNG

We brought in some big stars this year to help the team, with Coutinho being the big spend at £151M, but my first two choices of De Bruyne and Pogba couldn't be bought for less than £225M, so Coutinho came in and did very well, De Gea (who I think is the best GK outside of Neuer came in for £70M, then Diawara came in in January to help out an injury stricken midfield, and Antonio (who is an amazing RW) came in as cover (but eventually won a starting spot) out wide.  Then Grujic and Passlack came in on loan as backup players

Out

IMG_6801.thumb.PNG.9328f90cb72ad7fcb9b7ddfb49d4134c.PNGIMG_6802.thumb.PNG.b0b9aa600312f33ac42ce18d9b197480.PNG

Plenty of players leaving this year, Pastore never really produced the goods, so got sold to United for the measly sum of £20M, Di Maria wasn't happy with playing behind Draxler and Arnautovic so was sold in January and I brought in Antonio instead, then Kimpembe was let go as playing only 2 CD's he wasn't getting time on the pitch, then Yuri and Meunier were let go as I had no use for CB's (I know Passlack is a CB but he can play in the RW as well)

So with the squad sorted we set off on another season

Competitions

Spoiler

Domestic

We began the season once again in the Trophee des Champions against Monaco and once again we walk away with the trophy

(forgot to get a screenshot but we won 5-3 and you can check the fixture list for confirmation)

We had a very solid season in the league

IMG_6792.thumb.PNG.4f7cac6af2d597907b58bca8eb52ef63.PNG

Winning 37 out of 38 and losing the other game (lots of close games) but we also smashed the goals in this year netting just over 160 goals and conceding less than 45, and finished 33 points ahead of Monaco

The Coupe de la Ligue final was another fun affair

IMG_6790.thumb.PNG.116bed31fedd1a068ee4227aa3f57de8.PNG

Smashing 7 past Remis, who put up a fight and netted 4 themselves, but in the end my "Outscore" them strategy seemed to win out, or almost did as Monaco took their revenge in the French Cup quarter final

IMG_6791.thumb.PNG.08f1e47baa41ea376a039c737a366ce6.PNG

Falcao netting the winner in the 95th minute, then we played them straight after this in the league and beat them 6-2 go figure

Europe

We began our European adventure this year with the Euro Supercup game against Roma (which I again forgot to screen shot) but we walked away 4-0 winners there

The Champions league group stage saw us drawn against Seville, RBL and Anderlecht, and we stomped the group stage winning all 6 games

IMG_6794.thumb.PNG.def6a887b67a1b75b19b5fd274833da0.PNG

We then moved on through the knockout stages beating Spartak Moscow, Real Madrid and Seville....

Spoiler

IMG_6795.thumb.PNG.0202fcef6422560c98633f68b72c96b8.PNGIMG_6796.thumb.PNG.0c05f55b57d303ae1d3a744de3a3c791.PNGIMG_6797.thumb.PNG.e89be1a4f9c690b9a9056b7609def9b5.PNG

to set up a Champions League Final match against Juventus

IMG_6799.thumb.PNG.9d71be4d5b60d47addf6471d7bceb6c9.PNG

A solid start saw us take a 3-0 lead by the hour mark, but we almost threw it all away after conceding 2 goals in 2 minutes, but we held on to take the UCL title for the second year running

CWC

We also competed in our first CWC tournament under my regin and well as you'd expect

IMG_6762.thumb.PNG.870bd256dbc666ea9edaa13a8f4349c9.PNG

We walked away comfortable winners after a 4-1 win over New York

So a good season only missing out on the French Cup, but let's get down to the nitty gritty and see how my boys got on this year

Here's there stats after another year (Big shout to @kts365 for his advice on training)

IMG_6803.thumb.PNG.dda6278055d3497b1c4263ffd9d5c6b7.PNG

Mbappe turning into a truly terrifying forward and his 20 in technique and pace, means he's a nightmare for most defences

IMG_6805.thumb.PNG.ebbdb9d025f36aab41552f52c4a5df14.PNG

Rashford also looking like a beast of a striker and once these two peak their going to be awesome to behold

IMG_6807.thumb.PNG.9d6a07b0b4147c36fedce99741ee679b.PNG

Some big jumps here for Isak and this guy I'm hoping turns into the beast that we've seen him become in other saves from the likes of @PriZe and @kts365

Here's their stats for the year

IMG_6804.thumb.PNG.92fd5e1b6ec7bf41ef28579131a71a86.PNG

10 down on last year, but he played less games and there seems to be a funny issue where only the poacher on the left side scores, so him and Rashford got moved around a bit, but 51 is still a decent number and puts him at 112 so far

IMG_6806.thumb.PNG.cdf1ecd8bc9999eba8a48785b98be747.PNG

Rashford had a slight improvement on last season, but we'll need these two to start hitting the 70 mark soon, this puts him at 107 so far

IMG_6808.thumb.PNG.75b97f08ba928dbe6fae9c8e94587c67.PNG

Isak had a big jump in numbers this year netting 22 more than last season, and I hope this upward trend continues, this puts him at 90 so far

(Once again thanks to @FuddledFox for the awesome graphic work)

Here's the rest of the season info for anyone who wants to see it

Spoiler

Team Stats

IMG_6809.thumb.PNG.bd87647f043661eb38980df20da92d15.PNG

Coutinho had a funny season either playing well or shit, nothing in between, but he was a great addition all in all, even if he did steel 20 goals, then it's Draxler, Havertz, Arnautovic and Antonio all netting 10/12 goals from the AP/W positions

IMG_6810.thumb.PNG.87fc3bc27217188eda7cd05d68b30b6c.PNG

Draxler and Coutinho grabbing 58 assists between them but I'm still shocked at the 69 assists between my three strikers, need to teach them to be more selfish

Fixtures

Season Awards

My three did very well in the POTM awards over the season

IMG_6793.thumb.PNG.8c63af71cb273f760a58b699c16d6fc0.PNG

Missing only once in December

IMG_6761.thumb.PNG.5f120ba1e632c497efa53cab44585e70.PNG

Marquinhos wins the Ballon de Or (or however you spell it) beating my three strikers to the crown

IMG_6818.thumb.PNG.6139692dfe221af7b0d0ab56abbbedc2.PNG

Rashford is named best player in the league

IMG_6820.thumb.PNG.ce5f69d0e18e89ccd80f2fcadcc6e56a.PNG

Coutinho was the star of the competition

IMG_6821.thumb.PNG.79d8eecbf6daacc1937d96db01ceed2f.PNG

Mbappe wins the most promising star award for the second year running

IMG_6819.thumb.PNG.9b8215d223ac2531645af0802b00684e.PNG

9/11 once again in the League XI of the season

IMG_6822.thumb.PNG.018dfe80c1a513e6bc0afd6a5e9cd8b3.PNG

5/11 in the Star XI

IMG_6823.thumb.PNG.cbb16b2261d7a5e1896a29abec300e61.PNG

And only Draxler is named in the World best XI

So season 2 done and dusted and season 3 underway, with one huge addition to the squad that I'm hoping will bring plenty of assists for my front 3

Thanks for following and all the comments and I'll see you all soon

I've been switching between a PCR/TM/PCR and PCR/ADF/PCR combo and playing Isak across the board, they all get moved around to try and find their best position, but there a weird issue where the left PCR is getting more than the right so I switch the guys around to try and even out the numbers

Ah ok! Might have to do with preffered foot, and the players behind them and the roles. But your smashing it so no worries for the time being.

Cheers Panda man, trying something different for season 3 and now its the right side that's scoring so need to look at  a few things

I tend to see that the side that has the more gifted players will score most. So the side with my best winger +apm score most, if the striker has his preferred foot inside of the pitch.

good luck with season 3! :)

This requires so much dedication! Hats off to you sir. I have 3 great strickers at the moment so might try playing them all at the same time. I’m guessing you play them close together up top? Do you still have wingers?

I've been using wingers but I'm taking a break to try and work on 433 to see if the WB's can provide the assists without stealing the goals
