Season 9

The updates are coming out quicker now as we are quickly making our way towards the goal. Hopefully only 2 or 3 more seasons remain now before reaching the magical 1500.

Transfers

We spent big this season because I was getting bored and Stern was way too good to be playing for Dortmund. Kroos regen I think. The other two signings bolstered the defensive depth and I didn't promote those graduates so they can piss off.

Team Performance

We retained the Champions League easily beating Barca in the final. Also that one drawn game came right at the start of the season immediately crushing hopes of this seemingly impossible perfect league season. No losses in all competitions all season meaning only 12 defeats in 9 seasons! No Dutch manager could match that

Hoping for another 150+ to get us on the final straight but that's easier said than done with two donkeys in the front line. Will Woodburn receive a little more help this season?

I'm starting to think even a half century isn't possible for Paterson now. Oh well 43 is a decent contribution for this stage. Hopefully 60+ for DCL.

A new low for Calvert-Lewin as he's outscored by Paterson... Over to Woodburn again.

Without him where would this career have been! He'll smash the 1KC as well by the looks of things.

Another 168 goals closer to 1500.

Season 10

Closing right in now and should be finished in a couple of seasons or one massive season but with DCL struggling and Paterson not getting any younger that's probably too much to ask... Well probably for any normal manager

Surprised to pick him up so cheap. He's not had the best time of it in this save tbh and won't be any more than a fringe player here either.

Team Performance

2 defeats in the league Shocking. Almost like I handed the save to a random fucker on the street to have a crack at things. Everything else was fairly straightforward.

So, 194 is the magic number if we want to wrap things up this season. I went all out for it to keep the motivation up but was it possible?

I'll take it considering he's now 32 but would have hoped for a few more. No explosions from the Scotsman in this save but his contributions are definitely valuable and I'm pleased I gave him the chance.

DCL

Do not rub your eyes Something resembling a quality season from Calvert-Lewin! His best season of the save, wish he'd found this earlier, we'd have been done 3 seasons ago! 85 from Woodburn to get this completed this season! He's done it before...

Woodburn

But not again DCL takes some goals off Woodburn but the 1K in addition to the TT looks a certainty.

Good season and we're pretty much over the finish line now.
