Frame Two - Ashez Starts

I approach the table with a lead to chase which is how I like it! The pressure is on but at this stage we're always expected to perform to the highest level. With that in mind a lean down to take my opening shot. 

The Red

Not the easiest shot on the table but the red sinks into the pocket, however the positioning of the white wasn't the best as Ashez missed an opportunity to land on the black. 

Seriously been putting off playing this as FMM is annoying me atm and that's the first match I get? I know it happens but God it's frustrating! At least Paul scored as i'd have been raging if the pen was his only chance. Drama hey? You've got to love it, from the hope of a hat trick to staring at defeat. 

The Yellow

A tough shot aimed at the Barcelona pocket!

The Follow Up Red

Once again aimed at the Barcelona pocket

Not the best start but I'm relived to be off the mark at least! While the start offers a better choice of strikers the first three games being United and Barcelona balance it out nicely. Now it's over to Sam to see what he can do.

Frame 2 - Update

Ash managed to get off the mark quickly in this second frame so now the pressure is on Sam to try and follow suit here at The Crucible. After a brief assessment there's a red to the left corner pocket that he lines up.

The Red of Choice

Worked well last time but will lighting strike twice?

The Shot

No! That's very careless from Sam as miscues the shot completely and the red misses by quite a distance. Reds have scattered everywhere across the table here and Ash will certainly have options when he next visits the table.

Surprised by the slip up by Sam at the start of this frame as I expected him to go for the jugular.

Frame Two - Ashez

After a brief intermission called "Ashez is a lazy ******* who couldn't be arsed" we're back with this gripping frame two encounter. Ashez approaches the table with a lead which he intends to extend. 

The Lay Of The Balls

A wonderful start as I face off against Barca! 

The Selected Red

I'm a big fan of Wilson so hopefully he can deliver the goods! 

The Shot

The red sinks to gift Ashez another point but he unfortunately fails to land on the black. 

The Yellow Pot

Ashez frustratingly fails to pot the yellow as the frame goes back to Sam.

Not a commanding lead but this is how I expected the save to turn out tbh. Sam's consistency really blew we away in the first frame and I've annoyingly left the door wide open for him.

Ahh, no problem, what a chance to grab the lead but you blew it. That's football, and snooker as well apparently. You're ahead and that's what matters, still got every faith you're bringing this home.
