Tactics (EME)(4-4-1-1) Heavy Metal ?

Hello everyone 

first I almost tried every Tactic there is in the game searching for the “Tactic” ..

i know alote of you love the 4231 Tactic and i like it too because you can score alote of goals But you will concede alote of goals too! And some times it collapsed!! And the 41221 or 4321 is good too but these two are not attacking Tactics!.

so ...

i went for 4-4-1-1 and it was just amazing ? really dominated the games very Attacking very consistent very successful ??

In my first season i have won every competition ?

hope you enjoy a different Tactic ?

Excellent dude....ive been struggling to get big goal totals with single players using poacher and advanced forward. Im guessing from this that complete forward could be the way to go.

Nicely done...be good to see how it performs long term.

Do you change much from match to match or are you just sticking as is?

I don’t change a thing ?. Home or away winning or not I don’t change a thing from the start to the finish ??

Pretty great tactic here.

My only issue is that it occasionally gets very leaky at the back against good teams.

Also, having trouble finding players up to snuff that are naturals on the wings. Oh well, it's working.

Wanted to see if this works in the lower leagues aswell so I’ve started a career with Wrexham my home town team.. First friendly ended like this, very promising!

Using this on my Blyth career. Switched to it to start the 2021/22 season.

 

Finding you score so many goals but also concede a ton. Will post up league table etc once I finish the season. Not long to go now. Currently topping the table and scored over 100 goals.

Really enjoying this tactic. Started slowly but working well now, some great results against the bigger teams too. Still concede a lot but I haven’t upgraded my defence since promotion. Akpom as my CF is quality.

Used this in three different Countries now and it's been great each time. Used it in England, MLS in America briefly and Italy.

Currently using it with Sampdoria without signing anyone because I forgot to take off the first season transfer window option. Will post that up once I've finished the first season.

It's EME, I've only used it since the update, so I don't know how it was previously, but it's a very good tactic.

I have used all sorts of strikers as CF, and some may have trouble, but try them out anyway.

If they do struggle, switch to AF.

If they still struggle, switch to Poacher.

If they still aren't scoring, buy a new player. (credit for that strategy to @BatiGoal)

Hi. Although the roles in the tactic are fixed, can I be flexible with them without compromising the effectiveness of the tactic? For example, in the SS role, can I put an attacking midfielder in there and change the role to AP without damaging the tactic over-all? Thanks

I thing in this position in this Tactic you need a goal scorer not a playmaker

Not in my experience. Doesn't concede many but I can't seem to score more than 1 goal per game, unless it's a cup tie against Hartlepool (won 9-0).

Can confirm this tactic works very well on the 9.2 update

Tried this tactic for 3 main reasons

1.) I was sick of using 3 striker formations 2.) I’ve been using formations that hardly ever get the best out of my center mids and it’s been annoying me and 3.) I wanted to see if this tactic worked on the 9.2 update on EME.

Below is my first season using this tactic with Atalanta. Yes I had sugar daddy but only bought 2 players, Hoffman who got a spine injury and was out for 10 months anyway and then Schalke accepted a pretty low off for Goretzka and I couldn’t resist. Later in the season I bought out Spinnazola’s loan deal for £2.2m.

I won the Serie A after pushing Juve all the way and ending the season very strongly, despite suffering a lot of injuries. I was playing most of the games at the end of the season with CB’s at full back and midfielders on the wings due to numerous injuries. This was mostly due to me being stupid and using bronze physios all season without upgrading them. 

Lost the Cup final to Juve tho, and got knocked out of the Europa League semi finals by Arsenal.

Look at the stats in the pics to see how well the SS does in this tactic, Illicic and Gomez rotated at SS, Petagna was my main CF even though he is suited more for a TM role and then just look at the lovely return from Goretzka from central midfield as the AP.

ive had some mixed results with this set up. works great for a few games then randomly drops off and i cant seem to score for love/money 

 

but

tweaked it a tiny bit to have two SS and a 3man midfield AP DLP AP. changed the creative freedom to expresive and boom lots of goals.

 

now i have the main set up as my go to, and if its not working, i switch it up and HT

Loved this tactic! Interested to know if it works on the new update so will be trying it out.

Wiped over the Sampdoria save back then so apologies guys that test didn't happen.
