Hello peeps.

This is a challenge I was going to attempt over a year ago but due to falling out of love with the game it didn't materialise.

The challenge is this - 4 strikers played across the forward line to get a combined tally of 2000 goals (FL FC FC FR)

There's a little bit of info in post 1 under the heading 'challenge 1' below

I don't know if this still hasn't previously been completed as I can't find any other info searching for it on here.

There you have it. I'll post up season 1 tomorrow. In the meantime - any guesses as to who my 4 players will be?

Analysis

I made a few errors of judgement in season 1. Firstly I didn't have my 4 young guns on intensive training as I didn't want to increase the risk of injury. On the plus side they ended up playing some part in nearly all the games, but on the flip side i had to keep subbing them on or off, and their attributes didn't go up a huge amount.

Excellent start for a set of strikers so young, couldn't have really gone much better. As you strengthen I'm sure those numbers will only rise. 

At your current rate, this will take you about 13-14 seasons, but I bet you can do it quicker.

Hopefully mate. I worked it out to be around 16-17 seasons barring serious injurys, but I'll be over the moon if I do it quicker...

That is season 2 done! Still a long way to go. If I had posted this season when I actually completed it, i would have been a lot more optimistic at this point. The injuries start to kick in from next season. That's what happens when you decide not to protect the players anymore and crank up the training :-D

From seasons 3 to 6 my players are involved in less games every season due to injury. I forgot how well they performed in season 3 until I just posted it :-)

Season review

A mixed bag really.

D'Amico had a terrible season. Nearly as poor as his first. He did miss nearly 20 games due to injury though.

Kean had another solid season. Love this guy. My free kick taker (Even though it says he is an "unconvincing free kick taker". I beg to differ!

Pinamonti had a really poor club season by his high standards. His worst goal tally so far.

Pellegri had his best season so far. 69 goals.for club and country.
