6 Gems Assembled 

The six Stones of power that rule the MCU, the Gems of power that Thanos vigorously searches for....

Hello everybody and welcome to my first career of FMM18! Today I'll be showcasing the fantastic Infinity Gems challenge created by challenge mastermind @Titjes. After seeing this beauty of a challenge located in the ever so handy Challenge Index, I embarked upon a season of uncertainty and tactical tweaking as I looked to unlock the full power of the six stones I travelled so far and worked so hard for. I didn't want to star to too high up the footballing ladder at a team like Real Madrid, PSG or Bayern as I wanted a challenge, even more so than the on earth already set for me. I must say I have tremendous respect for @kts365 for trying this with Celtic and he managed to record a very strong score that I must work hard to beat.

After opening the portal from my mistic world, i was spat out in the strange City of Amsterdam. Beautiful buildings, strange people who proclaim to be animals and famous past footballers, and a rich footballing history. Me and my army marched on the Amsterdam Arena and took charge of the position of highest power in the city, or at least in footballing terms, at the wonderful Ajax FC. 

Next, I had to collect the power-emitting gems that would either bring me great success or embarrassing failure. I sent my minions to 6 nations to rip the Gems of power from those who had them in their grasp....

Soul Gem/Orange:

Ripped from the grasp of a rich businessman in England, this gem is the first in my currently powerless glove, and will manipulate the minds of defenders around the nation with tricky movement and outstanding flair.

Power Gem/Purple

Spoiler

The power Gem which will be the blockbuster in my attack on the nation, this Gem will burst through any resistance and slaughter the weakest.

Time Gem/Green

The time Gem I said invaluable in its qualities. It will freeze time, allowing pinpoint strikes on key locations and allowing the other Gems to prosper in slowed reality.

Space Gem/Blue

Eastern Europe was the fourth loaction for my army, who collected this gem with ease, whilst unseen. Constant manipulation of space means he can move into obscure locations at any point and strike unsuspected from above.

Mind Gem/Yellow

The Spanish culture is beautiful from what I've heard, and it's a shame we took its most valuable asset. The Mind Gem will allow me to take control of any opposition and twist them inside out to my advantage, exploiting and destroying them whilst they are clueless.

Reality Gem/Red

The final Gem needed for me to take full control of this pitiful world, the Reality Gem will allow me to use brute force and change the laws of gravity and nature to obliterate my opposition with strength and merciless brutality.

So, my six Gems were collected easily. Let's see what I can destroy in my first year in this 'Holland' place.

Update Time 

6 Gems Assembled - Season Review

Hello and welcome to the first and, strangely enough, last update from me for the Infinity Glove Challenge! I massively enjoyed playing this challenge (Finished it yesterday, I haven't stormed through a season in 3 hours!) and huge congrats and thanks to @Titjes for creating such a fun yet difficult challenge! My 6 Gems were raring to go and all they needed was my command to unleash their full power upon the defenders of Holland. The countries 17 finest legions came to its aid, but could not combat the pure power of my Gems. Or could they? 

Note: This was my first season on EME for almost a year, so bare with me 

Season Competitons

Well, what a mixed bag this is! On the plus side we finish second in the league with a crazy, compeltey unstable tactic, yet we bow out tragically of both cup Competitons. We were thoroughly dismantled in the Dutch Cup, with Feyernoord being our bogey team all year long, and the best that this feeble continent had to offer somehow outmatched the inexperienced cohesion of my all mighty Gems. 

Champions League

The one image I did manage to grab, we bowed out ungracefully in a tragically difficult Champions League group, where we blew Juventus away in Matchweek but couldn't sustain that form. The Gems are extremely inconsistent, their power isn't yet linked fully to the glove and they are malfunctioning it seems!

Eredivisie

We conceded A LOT, yet we also scored A LOT. The weak, young and frail humans we entrusted with guarding our rear as we went all out attack with our 6 Gems failed at their job, with their inexperience and lack of depth to replace the week meaning we conceded a fair amount. Then again, we scored on all fronts, our Gems finally finding their true power and obliterating teams with it, turning defences to ash. It was dissapointing to miss out on the extra points but let's hope the Gems can make up for it. 

A Strange Scenario

Well, I wasn't expecting this. Holland, for some reason, have no Awards other than the Golden Boot, which we failed to claim. Dissapointing as I'm certain we would have won all the awards but the people of Holland are bias since we overthrew their leaders and claimed the country. By leaders of course, I mean the footballing leaders 

Top Scorers/Assists

Goals

Yes! Viera had an outstanding year and claims the top goalscorer prise, with 3 of our Gems in the top 12 hitmen in the country. This gives us an extra 5 points to put against our score. 

Assists

And with 4 players in the top 12, we still fail to take the top prize, with Toornstra, a player I WAS going to pick up, pipping us to the award. Easy points we've missed out there.

That's how all our Gems performed! We could have done better but I'm generally happy with how things went considering it was an unstable tactic. Anyway, let's work out how many points we had overall. 

Overall Score

So, all of our players scores added together give us a total of 134.5 points, which leaves us third on the leaderboard of 4! If I'm being honest I'm happy to just be in it.

Wait, we still have some points to add. We need to add 5 from Viera being the league top scorer, which leaves us with 139.5 Points, but that's it! How dissapointing! 

So, I want to thank you all for your amazing support, and I hope I lived up to the hopes and expectations. This is my first completed challenge on Vibe (albeit a one season one ) but I'm happy either way! Thanks a lot and @Titjes get me on that leaderboard mate

It looks like my xmas tree on the third of January just as I was throwing it on the bonfire
