In this years game we saw some new roles for us to use and some that are repackaged versions of previous player roles. 

 What new roles have you used in FMM18?

This is a multible choice poll this week so tick all the roles you have used and why not tell us in the comments which roles you have had success with and which you just can't get on with or haven't used and why.

I want to do a new role poll for next years game in the future so lets keep the comments to this years game if we can.

I used the DM and DFB in the last VPL challenge and they did well, I've tried the SS and TEQ in my attempt at the Strikerless challenge but can't get anything solid going

If it can beat City 4-0 then you're onto a winner 

Is it just me or do the Libero's constantly get really low AVR's?

Same as anything you play in the dm position....yet on OME there avr is through the roof!

DM? I play him in behind the two centre backs and he's awful!

In the majority of my careers this year I’ve used an anchorman. A fantastic addition imo

Was meant to say cd....ive struggled to get defenders on eme to be really good.

That could be down to me though!

But on ome i regularly get 8 n 9's.

To be honest ive not tried Libero properly.

I have tried many times to integrate the newly added role(every single one of them) to my tactic, but it just did not suit my style. I appreciate the new role options though. More option is always good.

Messed about with a few but issues with the engine make experimenting not that fun tbh. I just use what I think is needed and what does the job I'm after, unfortunately in most cases it's hard to tell if that's going on though lol. 

Adding all these quality defensive options while failing to improve the defensive feedback the games gives and things like the AvR "bug" just lead me to frustration.

What is AvR bug?

The AM role is doing better than APM in attacking midfield for me, had to make do this year with InF in that position taken off.

Have you tried shadow striker as it seems to me it's pretty much the same role as AM InF from last year but with the proper name.

Defensive players don't appear to be rated on the game.

SS has been solid for me

Goals and assists galore

Works even with lower League players
