So I’ve just done a quick 10 league game test using the tactic with Wrexham, no transfers and I let my assistant pick the starting XI for each match. Safe to say it didn’t go down too well.

What I did notice in the games we either lost or drew however was that we did create the most chances and had the majority of the possession (Torquay and Boreham wood matches aside). 

So with the right transfers and using the right players in the right positions, this tactic does have potential. The assistant manager picks are always terrible in my opinion anyway, I may test further by using players suited to the roles to see how it goes. 

I may just have completely wasted my time by doing this though

Ok I’ve retested the tactic with Wrexham again, this time however I’ve made a few transfers, all affordable players in the lower leagues. Heck, the ADF came from the division below!

Much better results this time around, and you could say very unlucky in the games we dropped points in.

 With a few more transfers and sorting out the training and staff, this could work fairly well in a lower league save.

I’m half tempted to give this a go for a Double Trouble with PSG. Anyone reckon it’s worth it? I guess the two obvious strikers would be Mbappe (as AF) and Pellegri (target).

Once my MRI is finished I'll give this a bash with someone see how it goes, I'm thinking Chelsea with Giroud and Morata could be lethal

I just wanted to say how pleased and impressed I am with how this thread has done, hats off to @Foxy and to the community :). 

One suggestion however, maybe throw the final tactic in the OP.

Certainly went better than expected which is all down to everyone who got involved. Good idea I will add it later.

So far it’s been interesting. Admittedly playing it as PSG isn’t the hardest of tests. I’ve had a fair few ‘players confused by formation’, but I put that down to them not being as innovative as us Vibers ?

Is that in the match positives and negatives? Don't think I have seen that before.

Always hated this response as it shows we have limited creative freedom, come on this is just an attacking 442

I guess it makes some sense but you would hope over time that they would get less confused the more they they play any tactic.

Yeah it’s in the match negative. I’ve had it before using pushed-forwards wingbacks in a back four. It is only now and then though.
