Chat Bet Fred Cup - Hell on Earth

I am playing my first save in Scotland, I’m managing Elgin City, I’m about half way through my fourth season and doing pretty well, I’m top of the championship and 19 points clear. Boom!

 

One thing I HATE though about this save is the god damned Bet Fred cup. My fitness levels are always terrible throughout, most of my team are between 90% and 75% for each match and I never get through it without picking up a couple of injuries.

 

Plus it’s a group stage so I can’t even throw the match to get out of it.

 

Has anybody else had similar experiences with this cup? I feel like it’s a real hindrance on my pre-season.

I have just finished a save in Scotland and enjoyed it...always found it hard to win the SPL but easy to win everything else. The Betfred cup seemed a strange one though! just seemed pointless having a group that early on

Just finished my fourth bet Fred. I have 10 injuries. TEN!!!!

 

needless to say Celtic pumped me 5-0 on opening day. From now on I'm playing the reserves in this stupid cup.
