Help No Youth Prospects on the Horizon

Can anybody help me with this?

 

At the start of each season I get a message telling me there are no youth prospects on the horizon and then I have no youth players to offer contracts to.

 

I’m playing as my own club with average youth facilities.

 

Can anybody shed some light on this? Is this a bug or do I need better facilities? I only have enough coaching slots for one coach and he’s not a youth coach, does that matter?

 

Any advice would be great as I really like cultivating my youth prospects and it’s frustrating me having to buy kids from other teams.

 

I don’t want to adopt, I want to conceive!!!
