Arthur and Wallace were the major departures this summer. Arthur wasn’t getting any game time and Wallace was into his final year on his contract and wouldn’t move on extending his deal.

In

Just the two incomings. Jonathan Tah returns to the club after his short stint at Chelsea. I had to pay over the odds to get him but he’s well worth it

Then Toni Kroos was just a free signing I couldn’t turn down. Even at 31 when signing he looked decent. He’s 32 now and after some training with the club he’s kept his attributes pretty well.

Straight into the new season with a hatrick by Kluivert who I was hoping would push on this season after two seasons of being average at best.

Real Madrid in the Super Cup meant I had to start Toni Kroos against his former employers, and he repaid me by scoring the opening goal and assisting the second in a MOTM display. Madrid must be fuming they let him go.

Standard CWC victory. Bonus that all three of the lads scored a goal each.

I always seem to struggle in the domestic cup finals. I can never rack up a huge scoreline as most teams just come to frustrate the team. A win is a win I guess.

This is what I mean. 1-1 until the 84th minute of the match. In the league I’d probably have won 5-0! (I’ve just noticed I’m ranting about winning 😂)

An unbeaten league season with just the two draws thrown in there.

 

 

And a Champions League victory thrown on top. Kluivert and Ajer with the goals against a frustrating Barca side.

There we have it, another clean sweep of trophies.

Let’s kick things of with the big man, Kristoffer Ajer.

Looks the complete player! He’s natural in all the posistions down the spine and he could do a brilliant job in either one too!

57 for the season. Up on last year but not as good as the year before. Still a fantastic total. I feel like he’s even better in the new database than when I first used him and it’s half-tempting me to do a solo run with him again 😂

Next up we have Kylian Mbappé, our star man so far.

Quality player, he can also play just about anywhere in the attacking half of the pitch. Once he’s retrained as a LM I’m going to try and make him a natural CM too.

56 goals for the Frenchman in a season where he had a couple of injuries that ruled him out of some games where I felt he would have scored a few. Lower league French teams for example. Still we are well on course after his latest efforts!

Last but not least we have Justin Kluivert who needed a good season to get back on track, I put him on penalties this season just to boost his confidence ( I felt it worked 😂) 

So he looks decent enough but what about his stats?

42 for the Dutchman. His best season so far and I’m chuffed for him to be honest. A cracking season from all three lads.

So we are nearly half way. Which is way ahead of schedule. I put a marker of 12 seasons for myself down. I’m hoping now to get it done in 10-11.

So the biggest outgoing of the season happened in January as Sunderland came in for Toni Kroos with £10.5 million on the table, an offer I couldn’t really refuse due to his age and the fact we got him on a free. It’s a transfer I’m sure @samhardy would love to see come to fruition IRL.

Two big names arriving this season. Pogba arriving in the summer and Henrichs was a January buy as he was transfer listed and I just couldn’t resist the temptation of using him again. Pogba played a huge part this season and had a very successful first season, netting 14 goals and assisting 26 in 42 games. The results changed as soon as he stepped into the team tbh. A real quality player this year.

It’s all too comfortbale at this stage against our domestic rivals. 4-0 to open the season.

Again, all too easy. Kimmich’s injury in this match is actually what moved me to go for Pogba so for that I thank him I guess! 😂

6-0 victory doesn’t do this match justice. We absolutely battered them from start to finish in what’s turning out to be a routine cup victory.

AS Monaco once again. Same result once again. Had to play my reserves in this game as my preferred XI had all been away on international duty and just didn’t have the fitness levels at such a late stage of the season.

Another French Cup victory. A brace apiece from Kluivert and Pogba seals victory as we continue to steamroll our way through each and every opponent.

What a league campaign we had. Yes we lost once and drew once, but we managed to score 155 goals this season. A record for myself and I’m actually putting it down to Pogba. As soon as he’d come in we were going from winning 3-0/3-1 to easily scoring 4 goals per game. I believe I had two 8-0 victories in the league this year which added to the total. Quality season.

A nervy 2-0 win to seal another Champions League crown in a very well fought matchup between ourselves and Inter.

So that’s it for the season. Another quality campaign sees us retain all our trophies for another year. Let’s have a look how our trio got on.

First up is Mbappé who is peaking attributes wise by the look of things and he is an absolute god ingame. One of my favourites this year.

58 for the season. Two more than last year and playing a game less. Great stuff from our Mr.Consistent.

What a specimen 😍 He’s got everything hasn’t he?! I can’t think of a single flaw in his game.

Identical season to Mbappé as he also nets 58 for the season. One more than his previous campaign and in 6 less games. Great stuff from the big man.

Techincal stats are really good, his strength let’s him down big style IMO.

He hits 40 for the season and ensures we score 1 more goal than last campaign. This has officially been our best season to date and what a time to get it. All three should be hitting their prime in the next couple seasons hopefully.

A fair few names leaving us this summer. I simply couldn’t give them enough game time, so off they went.

In

Just the one. Dembélé comes in for the maximum fee plus Marco Verratti in exchange! They simply wouldn’t accept anything but this. He’s a French player to add to the squad and he’s decent I suppose!

Standard opening day victory.

Not so standard.  Juve pushed us close, but didn’t have quite enough to take it away from us.

Fuming this wasn’t more to be honest!

Mental final. Talisca is an absolute beast in this years game!

Out penalty practice has paid off. It felt like one of those games where the AI was gonna shaft me. Luckily they didn’t.

Near enough perfect, but not quite. Drop in goals this season too but I won’t complain.

And that’s another clean sweep. 5-0 against a decent looking Porto side. In the end though we show our quality with some ruthless finishing.

His worst season to date! A mere 30 goals to his name this season. Just couldn’t find any sort of form with the lad this season unfortunately, hoping for improvement next season definitely.

No major outgoings to speak of this season. So let’s move on

In

Big money spent this season. Most of it on a certain Dele Alli. My central midfielders were starting to age so I needed someone with some more petrol in the tank in the centre of the park. Welcome Dele!

We start the season off with your standard 2-0 victory over our domestic rivals.

Followed by a 4-0 drubbing of Napoli in the European Super Cup.

Ajer stole the headlines in the CWC with a 4 goal haul with Pogba grabbing a brace to complete the rout.

Familiar foes in the Coupe de la Ligue final. Familiar result too. Another 4-0 thrashing in a cup final.

The French Cup final soon followed and our second 6-1 of the season in cup finals was just what we needed. Mbappé’s first half hatrick made this tie a walk in the park.

A single loss all season. A bullshit one at that. Bordeaux scored twice in the final 10 minutes with their only shots on goal. Typical FMM bullshit lol.

Bayern in the receiving end of the bullshit this time around, as we come from 2-0 down to clinch another European cup by 3 goals to 2.

Just over half of his tally from last season. Huge drop in goals. I partly put it down to a tactic change in which I tried to get the most out of Mbappé. 31 assists ain’t too bad I guess. You may notice he only played in 50 games this season. He had a couple injuries which seemed to be a recurring trend amongst all three of them this year! 😢

Improvement on last season as he hits 47 for the season. Great stuff. Just the 51 games for him this year!

The tactic paid off in a way, as Mbappé hits 61 for the season, in just 46 games! He was out for two months at one point but his form never took a hit. His stamina has however! 😒

So a injury hit campaign turns out to be better than last year so I won’t conplain too much. If they can stay fit next season I’m hoping for around 150 goals. That’ll put us around 200 off the target 🤞🏻

Sess and Kehrer wouldn’t budge on a new contract so they had to go, otherwise I risked losing them on a free  at the end of the season. Nothing else of note here.

In

I’ve been rotating between using WB’s and Wingers a lot so I wanted someone who can play both posistions and a player that’s a bit of an all rounder. Trent fits the bill perfectly.

Monaco must hate playing against us. Another victory over our domestic rivals.

A close fought match between ourselves and Spurs. But even Harry Kane’s hatrick couldn’t quite take the trophy from our grasps.

6-1 mauling in everybody’s favourite cup competition. 5 goals between our Three kings.

Always a cagey match when playing against Lille. We get the job done though.

Monaco again. You’ll notice that the Judas Kehrer suffered an injury. Good.

What a season! One draw makes the perfect season seem nigh on impossible! A 156 goals Scored is what catches the eye though. Think that makes this one the best yet!

What a way to finish a season off. Smashing Barca 6-1 in the champions league final. What a result!

An improvement on last season. He did play in 11 more matches though. 40 goals is a solid return.

What has happened to his stamina! It’s dropped down to 10 and I’m in danger of ruining the player! 53 goals is a huge return from him considering I had to sub him off after 65 minutes!

The big man equals his best season with another showing of 70 goals. He’s really outdone himself this season. Great return.

Our best season to date puts us well in control of our own destiny. Two more seasons should do it. Although what happens with Mbappé beyond that is puzzling me! Can we recover his stamina? I’m not so sure.

What a site! His stamina has dropped down to 9! It dropped to 8 at one point in the season. This is the reason why I won’t be carrying on with this career after we’ve hit the target required. I just can’t see the point in slugging for goals with this one with the way he’s deteriorating.

But damn he’s so good! 47 in 48 games. None of them were full games either. I had to sub him off after 70 minutes each time.

Yeah I’ve tried switching his training to a fitness one and that didn’t work. So i switched him back to an attacking one and it seems better! Like you say, some just don’t recover after an injury. A real shame as he’s an amazing player.

This is Mbappé in my DT career from earlier on in the year. He looks so much better than the one I’m using now and this ones 34 years old! Mental
