Hi, I’m Nucleus

Hey guys, so @Foxy suggested I post a little something about myself in here. To be honest I had no idea this thread existed as I would have done so earlier. 

Myself

Anyway, I’m Nucleus. Real name Nick/Nicholas and I’m a very proud Welshman. I live in north wales on the lleyn peninsula so I’m right out in the sticks. We’ve only had 4G installed last year! I live with my girlfriend and our beautiful 3 month old daughter and I work as an assistant manager in a supermarket. Unlike some of the oldies on the site *cough* @Foxy *cough* I’m at the tender age of 28. So not exactly the youngest pup here either!

Football Manager

Onto FM then, I started playing football manager games at around 2003/2004. My first foray into the genre was with LMA manager on the PS2 followed by me falling in love when I first played Championship Manager 5 on the same console. Championship manager 2007 was the one I played the most back then and fondly remember always buying Anthony Vanden Borre for each career I started and another signing I always made was Igor Semjonovs, a Latvian midfielder who turned into a right beast for around £20k. Onto the full fat FM PC games. Never played them often, mainly due to the fact I’ve never owned a decent enough computer to play them! So a hiatus was needed until the release of the mobile version and I fell in love all over again.

Vibe

I actually joined Vibe in 2015, mainly as a lurker and looking for tactics to help me. I did post a couple of tactics myself but they didn’t receive the love I hoped for lol. One of the articles that I remeber fondly and still refer back to now and again is @MerlionMaple96‘s wide advanced playmakers

Reading this article just showed me that there’s so much more to the game than I originally thought. I then remember reading some of the careers posted by the likes of @Ashez @PriZe @samhardy@Taffand @BatiGoal and I just really wanted to do the same. I’d learnt so much on Vibe in such a short space of time, and thought I could give something back in the form of my careers this year (and there’s been plenty). 2018 has been a mad busy year for me so far, juggling being a dad and work, with a bit of FMM on the side but I wouldn’t change anything. I love being a part of this community, I’ve made some good friends in @Titjes and @mcandrew003 and hope to make a lot more in the future. My PM’s are always open if anyone wants to talk football, FMM or just general chit-chat

I think you live more out in the sticks than I do!! I have been to Bangor a few times as my sister was at Uni there and also Anglesey but I'm not sure I have ever been to the lleyn peninsula before.

I know the perils of small babies we had 2 within 2 years....it was hardwork!

To be fair I love living here. Hardly any crime and it’s a really small knit community. A safe place to bring up my daughter is all I want and I have that

Might be something to do with it!  I’ve had it easy in all honesty, my missus has breastfed the little one so I’ve not had to do any feeds or the like. Just nappy changes and being funny is all I’ve had to do!
