I’d really like to allow it mate, but the original plan was for 12 players. We’ve already increased it to 14 as it is. Plus with all the graphics already made it seems like a lot of extra work I’m afraid! Sorry!

Challenge One - The 100m Sprint

Usain Bolt set the Olympic record for the 100m sprint at the 2012 Olympic Games at the London stadium. He set a time of 9.63 seconds to take the gold and make history.

Can you beat the great mans record? The concept of this challenge is simple, yet the execution will be difficult.

The Set-up

• Load up England and the USA
• Take control of West Ham United
• Transfer in one of either :-

Giles Barnes

Darren Mattocks

Deshorn Brown

• ‘No’ other transfers are allowed
• 16 league games to determine your points

The scoring system

Player scores	Team wins	Amount of seconds
YES	YES	0.5 Seconds
YES	NO	1 Second
NO	YES	1 second
NO	NO	1.5 Seconds

The amount of seconds it takes to run your 100m will be determined from this table. The fastest possible run is 8 seconds, and the slowest would be 24 seconds.

The points system

20	13

Then we move onto this table, where the seconds are converted into points. Your teams goal difference will be added/subtracted onto these points to give us your final score. In the rare event of a tie break, the Jamaican strikers Average rating will be used to determine a winner.

• No Holidaying or reloading
• Evidence via screenshots will be required
• Failure to meet the deadline set will mean 0 points - no extensions
• If you fall under any suspicion you will be asked to submit your save for inspection. Failure to do so will result in immediate ejection from the competition.
• Screenshots must be sent to myself @NucleusNT and myself alone. Please do not post any results on the thread

@NucleusNT a few more Q’s mate as my first time ever doing an event for fm. Given that it’s a week will people be allowed to try the challenge out a few times first to prepare or is it a strictly first try only thing? Also just to confirm that the only transfer we can make is the one for the challenge? The formation I’m thinking of using needs a sweeper keeper and not sure Hart or Adrian are up to it 😜

For the transfer part: only the 1of the 3 players, no other transfers

 And I believe there is a "silent" gentlemens agreement that you only once try the challenge but nobody can stop you though

Ok ty and I don’t want to cheat, I want to do what’s fair. If everyone was having a few practice runs I’d want to too but if it’s 1 try only then I’d prefer that anyway. Way fairer right 😀👍

Yeah as @Titjes said, just the one transfer (your Jamaican striker) and as for multiple attempts, I’d like to think everyone has one crack of it and submits that score. It’d be too easy in my opinion to have four attempts for example, and then choose your best score from that four. Not really fair to be honest.
