Hernandez was the star for me. With Barnes spending most of the time injured, Javier played a central role. He scored in every game bar one.

Just the friendship he had with that lad "bradley" I think, just thought that was very good of him, but I'm sure there are others who work hard off the pitch as well, just can't think of any

Same with NFL players, you get those who go around splashing the cash on girls, cars and jewelry then those who spend theirs on toys for underprivileged kids

Heat Two - The Decathlon Challenge

The current Olympic record for the decathlon is currently shared between the Czech Republic and the USA. The record stands at 8893 points. Can you set a new record?

Set Up :-

• Load up England, USA and Spain
• Take control of Atletico Madrid
• Use your Czech or American strikers for 8 league games each
• 16 league games to determine your total points

Points system :-

• Striker 1’s AvR + Striker 2’s Average rating  divided by 2 and multiplied by 1000 = Starting Points
• League Goals Scored by your two strikers multiplied by 100 = Bonus Points
• -100 points per team yellow card
• -250 points per team red card

Example:- 

Striker 1 Avr (6.65) + Striker 2 (7.85) divides by 2 and multiplied by 1000 = 7,250 points

Goals Scored (13) multiplied by 100 = 1300

Card points = 600

Total points = 7,950 points 

If unsure I will be working out the points myself so no need to worry.

So you must commit to buying both players from one team. No mixing players, it’s either two Americans or two Czech players.

Rules :-

• Only your chosen strikers goals count towards points
• You may only play them for 8 league games each. No more, no less
• They must not play in the same match at any given time
• They must always play in the striker position
• Only transfers allowed are your two chosen strikers
• 16 ‘league’ games only lads
• November Database only
• Usual rules also apply, no cheating in any way shape or form. Reloading to avoid an injury is classed as cheating. No use of any unlockables or IGE etc.
• Own formations and tactics only please guys.
• The deadline set must be met or you will face an automatic ejection from the competition 
• Have fun

• League table after 16 games
• Total team cards after 16 games
• Both strikers attribute and history page
• Transfers

Deadline Tuesday 29th May 5pm BST

I’m glad someone asked! Can’t see any issue with mixing mate, it’s what I first thought of doing when Titjes first pitched I to me

Anyway excuse the rudeness of not mentioning the challenge on my previous post, I'd blame the nerves and excitement ;). So yeah another solid challenge guys, I have to say I have no idea how I'll approach this one! Neither pair are screaming out to me but I do have previous with two of them, then the card is just vile 😛

The player choice is the only approach Id be lost on myself. Otherwise I know what my game plan would be.

Messed around with a Vydra 1kc years ago when he was with West Brom iirc while I heard good things about Zardes so I dabbled with him.
