Ok so I’ve been doing this challenge this afternoon -

Another fun quick one season challenge. The idea of it being a league games only challenge sounded a little different. I decided to have two teams. 1st team for all EPL games and the 2nd for all other games. I’ll post both in my list of screen shots (the one with Ederson as GK is my EPL team). I enjoyed this challenge a lot! Never have I tried having two squads like that and was amazed how happy the squad was. Probably one of my most consistent ever EPL seasons too. I’m really happy with how it went. My 2nd team and my attacking tactics got found out pretty quick in europe but the league went very well. Think I scored max points too 😀👍 also, I wanted to mention how perfect Man City are for challenges. Massive budget, great young players and not too many to move out. First time trying them and will definitely try them again.

Had a couple of PMs about what tactics I used. I’ve been using and evolving this tactic for a couple of weeks now. 

I tested it a few weeks back and started playing with it a little. Used an evolved version for the first olympic event, evolved a little again for the Infinity Glove Challenge and a couple of tweaks for this challenge.

Had to use him sparingly in a few cup games due to injuries to my 2nd team but a pretty nice league total.

 

 

Edit: also worth mentioning is that Werner got way more goals with Bernardo Silva playing behind than he did with Aguero. He seemed to share the goals more with Aguero.

Nah if I can help it. I’ve used him in a few challenges and he always spends half the season out injured so he’s a back up at best for me. I’d normally sell him at any other club but Man City are short on natural strikers.... just him and Jesus I think.
