Yeah....i have this dreadful feeling he will retire early!

SEASON 10 UPDATE

Hi everyone and welcome back to the latest installment of Sam's career.

With season 9's disappointing goal return we move into season 10 hoping for an improvement.

Before we get into Sam's season tally....how did we do as a team.

Another undefeated season...we are not far off from a 100%er now.

As a side note this has been entered for the Book of Records for the 52 point difference. 

 

I have noted before than European games play over 2 seasons in Ireland and as of the end of season 10 our Champions Cup group stage see us sitting....

The team is really starting to make a mark in the competition now.

Before i forget here is the transfers.

Right lets get to why we are all here(hopefully).

Sam needed to push on this season, i'm still confident of reaching our target as long as he stays away from injuries.

I made one adjustment to how we were playing in changing our passing to a more slower approach to allow Sam more time to find space(i believe this happens lol)

I forgot to take a screenie of Sam so i've taken one from the current season 11 campaign.

He is currently in a 4 week injury layoff so his numbers have dropped slightly.

So i know your all dying to find out how many he has scored so without further a do....

Smashed it......80 goals GET IN!!!

A brilliant season then from Sam taking his overall total to 538!

462 to go to reach our goal. Can he hit 90? hopefully, but you will have to wait and see.

SEASON 11 UPDATE.

Hey peeps...

It been a while and i've neglecting Sam quite alot of late with the VPL, VO & the VWC.

So here is the latest on Sam's quest to feast your eyes upon.

I will now be completely focussing on helping Sam reach his goal.

We enter out 11th season having reached 80 goals the previous year and the hope that Sam can reach 90.

Lets start with our in 'n' outs

Not many in this year as im really happy with the squad at the moment, just let a few of the back ups and youth team players go i didnt deem good enough.

On to our league form.

Another unbeaten season and a 100% record. And the goals just keep on glowing.

 

The board seam to think putting me on the board was a good idea 😆

On another note i forgot to mention on the previous update that i have achieved another Stadium renaming so hopefully this will be enough evidence for @Foxy to add it to the leaderboard.

Derry now play at Woodpecker Lane.  😂

😂 he still looks bloody awful but i'm going to put him on @Nucleus new training programme and see if he improves at all.

Only 72 this season gutted he didnt get anywhere near the 90 i was hoping for but still a decent total none the less.

610 goals now and at 27 he should really have no problem hitting 1000 goals(i hope).

I couldnt resist using him once i had found him 😂

He tends to have a 2 or 3 game lull at parts and then goes on a scoring spree.

The difficult part is bringing in the quality supply....some of my top players are on the wrong side of 30 and im finding it hard to bring in top replacements, they do tend to take of goals though but if Sam's technique would go up im sure he'd score more.

Im coping so far.

**UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE**

 

As @samhardy is back off his hols i thought it would be right to update you all on his namesake.

This will be a double season update as i was naughty and carried on 😂

Season 11 didnt quite hit the dizzy hieghts of the previous season so Sam needed to step up his game going into season 12.

1st though lets get into the season peticulars.

Transfers:

Warren Barnden was being a pain in the ass and wouldnt sign a new contract. Soft lad signed though once he left the club! Duh!

Do you really need to see how we did in the league as we win it every time? Of course you do!

Denied a 100% finish with that lonely draw but we did reach our 3rd highest goals total.

 

So i set Sam a target, beat last seasons total and do your best to reach 80!

Did he do it?

God dammit....missed out by a single goal.

@BatiGoal would this deem worthy proof that the 80 wasnt a fluke? 😂

Lets see how Sam looks...

His numbers fluctuate alot at the moment, just wish that technique would reach at least 10 it would help soo much.

So thats 689 goals now and he seems to be hitting steady totals.

 

So we move into season 12 with Sam posting a decent total and us ruining Irish football.

My squad as good as it is, is starting to age so i need to bring in some younger talent.

Transfers.

Van Ransbeek had been peggin for a move for a few seasons and some squad players were starting to get pissed off with him so he had to go, luckily Atalanta splashed out and off he went.

Regretfully i let Benyu go too. He was starting to play less and less so i allowed him to trot off to Entella for a decent sum.

Onto the league..

Rubbish compared to previous seasons but undefeated again. 

Not happy with the overall goals total but i am being picky 😂

Now on to Sam's season 13(unlucky for some) total.

As it turned out 13 is bloody unlucky as Sam suffered with injuries and only managed 41 games!!

A poor goal return due to the lack of games here, gutted but what can ya do!

His numbers are holding steady but he is nearly 30 and i'm expected some might start dropping soon.

He has a nice total of 715 goals in 617 games.

Another 285 to go, can he do it?

Only time will tell, so thanks for catching up.

I think you’ve got it in the bag, so long as his attributes don’t decide to go into freefall! You need around 50 a season on average in my opinion so it’s more than doable for you! Good luck Woody!

Thanks mate...fitness was an issue in season 13 but im hoping thats just a blip.

He's doing really well and I think he'll make the 1K. All strikers get injured from time to time, it's just something you gotta push through, and he's pretty consistent with the goal scoring ratio. Just hope he hangs onto his attributes for another 3 or so years, that should be plenty to see you home.

Im hoping so bud, im worried he will have a massive drop and revert to 16yr old Sam 😂

Seams to be holding steady at the mo but yeah maybe 3 seasons to get it done.

*UPDATE*

helloo, welcome back to a new update.

Before i get into it i have noticed something...i read back a few updates ago and noticed that my totals were dropping and i didnt know why.  I totalled them all up but was 38 goals shy so i went into the save and i noticed that season 1 was no longer on the season history in Sam's history page hence the missing 38 goals from his total! Has this happened to anyone else?? I will show evidence of this later 😉

Lets get back on track with some Transfer News:

As i am trying to replace my ageing stars this year was mega busy, i did indulge though as i managed to capture 31yr old Barco and 32 yr old Tuanzebe!

Its huge valuable experience for my new youngsters 😆

 

How did we fair in the league:

Really upset with that single defeat....our 1st league defeat in 6 years!!

Lost on the last game away to Sligo 3-0....couldnt believe it!!

 

You may of noticed a certain player on the transfers list....who could it be!?

Thats right......after a drunken night out 18 years ago i found out i have a son and as part of the custody rights i have to let him play football. I mean christ...his name's PERCY ffs!!!!

 

So after that fun little reveal we get back on track and see how Sam faired in his 14th season.

Despite his strength hitting 10 some of the others are starting to drop.

A great 71 goals this season and a much better increase on the previous injury hit campaign.

As previously noted i was missing a seasons goals as s1 is missing from Sams history.

As you can see the 2018 season is missing reducing his total goals.

So adding that 38 missing goals to his total gives Sam an overall total of 787 goals.

Sam is 30 now but i think has a fair bit of life left in him yet to get the remaining 213 goals.
