Help Defensive Tactic Help

Does anyone have any good defensive tactics they could share or have any tips for building a good defensive tactic?

I've noticed that most of the tactics that seem to work in fmm2018 tend to be attack based but I feel like playing the game in a different way so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Playing with wide width, slow passing tempo, and long passing works somewhat for me. Strangely this absolutely does not work against world class teams or teams that are better than you, as it lets thru a lot of low quality chances. Low quality chances that world class strikers can score from. But if you have faith in your keeper, it works wonders.
