Season 17

A drop in overall team goals, not sure if its because Larsson is on the decline.

Anyway a clean sweep of trophies and another 46 goals to his total.

End of season 17: 1049 goals

 

Season 18

Jordan Larsson's final season of an illustrious career, unfortunately due to his contract ending on 30/05 and the CL final being on the 02/06 he didn't get the final send off he deserved. Clean sweep of trophies again but massive drop in team goals, and much better defensive record. No idea why as only minor tweaks to the tactic.

His last game was the Scottish Cup Final win.

Here's how he finished a day before retirement.

Another 37 goals to his total, an understandable decline.

Plenty of awards.

Although this says 17 seasons he's actually completed 18.

Overall record. Transfer acumen pees me off as I've brought in ten times as much money as I've spent on transfers.

 

So Jordan Larsson finishes his Celtic career having scored a grand total of 1086 goals and providing 288 assists whilst winning 18 consecutive league titles and 50 other cups.  What a career! Wasn't expecting to hit this figure when i started but pleased i got there with him, really enjoyable save.

On a side note i have never completed the full 30 seasons but i bought this guy in January of the final season and i 'think' he is the second evogen of Ronaldo. I am taking a break from this save but may come back to complete the 30 seasons and see if i can get this guy to 1000.  If it is who i think it is i would hope he would need a lot less time than Larsson.

Great stuff mate, will be really happy to see you on the 1KC Leaderboard! He's actually looking pretty good for a 37 year old, and still doing alright, so he went out in style (not like some of mine who I've dragged on to the bitter end).

As for that CL final thing, I've had that before too. Had a top player leave the club on the morning of the match once. I was like "We have a game on over here and we'd like you to go onto a rolling weekly contract until it's over" and he just shrugged and said "Sorry, boss, I gotta go, enjoy your game"...

So i was determined to see a career out to the max 30 seasons and with the signing of Fernandes that i mention above it was the perfect motivation to see if i could do back-to-back 1k's.  Given he was the second evogen of Ronaldo i was sure i wouldn't need as long as Larsson.

I didn't want to do season-by-season updates as i was unsure if i would complete before '19 came out so i have captured various screens to show the back end of my Celtic career. After a reasonable start he soon started to fire.....

He ended up scoring a total of 1040 goals in 13 seasons (although i count it as 12 really as i was prioritising Larsson in his first season).

Some stunning seasons when he hit his prime, and when i switched to this formation.

Here's how he looked at the end. Not quite at his peak as his physicals were better but his last season he had a few injuries which affected him.

Best start to a season.

Some praise from the main man.

And what a way to sign off in his final match - a 94th minute goal to seal a hat trick!

Managed to use plenty of Scots in my career and had quite a proud moment when they made up the entire starting 11 for the national team.

And finally after 30 seasons..............

Think i got my money's worth.

 

So that's 1086 goals for Jordan Larsson followed by 1040 goals for Pedro Fernandes.

Wow, that was unexpected and amazing! Super work. Never done a double 1KC. By the time I've finished one, I'm done with the save, can't face it anymore!
