This is one nut to crack, It's getting harder as each season goes by, but I am determined to beat it, even if it does take me all 12 seasons!!!!!!

Cup Competitions...

Start with the FA Cup, which is the one I want as this is one of the objectives, how did I do...

 

FA Cup...

No change there, for some reason I can't seem to get anywhere with this Cup????

Carabao Cup...

I was ver close to loosing this in the Quarter Final against Man Utd but...

Eventually I got through to the Final with an emphatic win against Man City...

Champions Cup...

This was a hard fought Cup to crack, there was some close calls during my journey...

First Knockout stage with Juventus proved to be a close call, only beating them over the 2 legs 5-6 on aggregate

The Semi Final was something to be proud of, beating Barcelona in both legs, winning 1-3 away and then 2-0 at Goodison to get through to the Final...

The final was drawn, we were up against Sevilla who are not an easy team to beat as we have found the season before, could we defeat them second time round. This could lift us up into the elite league of Top teams winning this, only 90 minutes stood in our way...

This was a good day for all those involved with the club, last season was a big disappointment loosing against them in the final, but this cement a place in the Elite Clubs, congratulations to all of the Team not only getting us here, but lifting the cup...

Manager of the Month awards nearly looked all one way, to me, not bad season for me...

The Premier League...

I clinched the Title for the second time...

Getting over a Hundred goals is quite a fete within the Premier League, so this was a good season for me in the sense of how the team played...

A difference from last season, this time his stats have improved due to getting the rest periods, and not picking up as much Injuries throughout the season...

Noticeable is his Technique rising to a nice green along with Pace, Strength, Decisions and Teamwork

 

Goal Tally...

An Improvement from last season, but no where near what is expected from him, could this be a lost cause, do I throw the towel in now, or give him another few seasons? considering Sandro is only playing a bit part, but scores nearly if not more than him during all other games...

You must beat his record of 60 league goals, 37 hat-tricks and 383 club goals.

The player must also win at least 2 League Titles, 2 Charity Shield and 1 FA Cup

League Goals Required - 60 - 34 (Well off target)

Hatricks - 31 - 2 = 28 Left

Overall Goals - 306 - 34 = 272 Left

League Titles - 1 - 1 = 0 Complete

FA Cup - 1 - 0 = 1 Left

Charity Shield - 1 - 1 = 0 Complete

Is this a lost cause, do I throw in the towel, got another 9 seasons to play with, decisions decisions!!!

Good season all-round, the only worry being the 60 goals. But keep going hard at that. Also, don't worry about Man City knocking you out in the 6th round of the FA Cup, they do that to all the teams...

So my latest update is I've thrown the Towel in, to be honest I got fed up with EVERY other striker scoring freely than my main Man Brereton.

I think he is a good player, but not as prolific as he promised at the beginning, and to get 60 League goals is a big ask from anybody, especially him...

So I will give you some screenshots of my heroic attempt, and then say farewell to this challenge, another day possibly...

You must beat his record of 60 league goals, 37 hat-tricks and 383 club goals.

League Goals Required - 60 - 44 was his highest (Well off target) Incomplete

Hatricks - 31 - 21 = 10 Left Incomplete 

Overall Goals - 306 - 306 = Complete

League Titles - 1 - 8 = 0 Complete

FA Cup - 1 - 2 = Complete

Charity Shield - 1 - 6 = 0 Complete

Brereton 2026

Even though his stats are good, he just didn't cut it as a Prolific Striker

So total League goals was around 300+ for this challenge, which is ok for what was required, but as you can see is best effort was 2022/23 where he got over 40 League goals, the rest was Charity Shield and a couple of Cup games

So I thought I did well overall with Everton, turning them into a force not to be reckoned with...

Got the call to build a 80000 Stadium - Cockers Stadium 😁

Well that's it, thanks for all those reading this, and those who have commented along the way, I will give this another try before 2019 edition hopefully...

Gutted that you didn't complete the full challenge but you got a few stages ticked off at least and a nice new stadium is an achievement when you consider how long it has taken Everton irl to get one.

Bereton isn't a player I'm very familiar with but it looks like he turns out well but I know the frustration of everyone else scoring all the goals and not the main man all to well☹️

Such a big ask to get those 60 league goals. It’s a challenge I have looked at a few times as I’m getting high 50’s out of my striker but that’s in Scotland. Different story in England. Great effort tho and ticked most of the other requirements off. Never used brereton but his stats look very tidy 👍

Shame mate, but well done with all you did achieve this save - success all round except for that 60 goals and we all know that's a tough ask. To be honest, even though I don't like using the obvious choices, I'd probably only try this one with Harry Kane... Also, another great read (I enjoy careers that are not straightforward). 

Anyway, can't wait to see what you try next!

It is a big ask mate, I thought maybe attempting it with with Rashford, or even Kane, but it's whether his age will hold up to get the all exclusive 60 before he is retireable, where Rashford will cost a world to get

Yeah, Rashford might work. haven't seen him used much this year though (maybe because I was stuck 2017 land). As for the Cockers, it's my favourite stadium! You should get bonus point in the Stadium challenge for that!

Mate 22 years in the Army, hardly anybody knew my real name so it's stuck, everybody knows me by this name, so I thought thats what my stadiums are going to be called 🤣
