Chat I have never seen this before!!!

Recommended Posts

I had to share this as I have never seen it before.

I was playing Lugo with my Atletico Madrid team and cruising to a 4-1 victory when Lugo tried something completely different that my high line and press couldn't deal with. They pushed both forwards right up and then punted it forwards which I would have thought was offside but apparently this ref and lino let them stand:S

Just glad we held on for the win.

Possibly just errors with the visual representation of the match engine - i.e. they were actually onside, but the visual represenatation showed them in a completely different position (or more likely, showed some of the other players in a different position). You get stuff like that all the time with the OME - goal keepers standing in the centre circle, goals ruled offside when there are clearly defenders playing them on, goals scored from the other end of the pitch etc. I'd assumed that the EME, having been built from scratch would be less silly, but maybe there are still a few glitches in there.

Peely sums up my views, I can't say I've seen anything like that before but like I've said for years the EME is a marketing myth.

So, umm, looks like you only have 9 outfield players... I guess one of your guys has gone for a pee in the trees behind the goal, so they're actually onside because of him?

Either that or it's just glitching... But the missing player has something to do with it whether it's supposed to be doing that or it's a bug...

He had a man sent off, we’ve spoke about it and came to some sort of conclusion that he had something to do with it

Ah, that would explain it. Well actually it wouldn't but you know what I mean. Some sort of weird 'man sent off' bug.
