Hi all! Been a long time reader but first time poster! And for a first post I’ve taken on the “Die Deutsche Trio” challenge with Inter Milan

My Deutsche Trio consisted of Phillipp Max, Davie Selke and Christoph Kramer. Kramer was brought in to be an anchor man behind my creative midfield...and yes he was my second choice for this position in the window! You’ll see why later 🙄💰💰

Federico Chiesa was added in January with Fiorentina struggling.

Lost out on my key target in Leon Goretzka, priced out the market by Man City and A.C. Milan 🙄

Selling Icardi was a struggle. My favourite striker on FMM for years but it had to happen to unleash Davie Selke fully 🇩🇪

Juve were good this year. Like really good. They were so good, Blaise Matuidi thought he’d give me a helping hand 45 seconds in 👋🏼 And big Davie Selke took full advantage, scoring 4 goals in a 6-0 thrashing. Beating them in the cup QF was sweet too.

As for our city rivals, they brought 5 buses with them in their home game in a 0-0 snoozefest 😴 However we had the last laugh beating them 2-0 in the Italian Cup Final to grab our first piece of silverware at the Giuseppe Meazza

So we fell heartbreakingly short. Short of a Juve side who were unplayable at times but did their best to hand me the title with some sloppy late defeats. If it wasn’t for some poor sloppy draws, the Scudetto would’ve been ours, but as it is, Juve have another Scudetto in their cabinet
