Outgoing:

My Brazilian Right back/Winger was getting very annoying so off he went to A.C. Milan for a nice sum of £43.5m. The other notable departure is my son! Yes, I got a son...who’s absolutely terrible. A left back he is, I didn’t have the cojones to sell him so I shipped him on loan instead.

Incoming:

Just the two incoming transfers, a German right winger and a French Central Midfielder in the same mould as Pogba. Not sure why I bought him as he’s a selfish git, I’m just nostalgic 😛

• Club World Cup- Beat Okayama FC 4-0
• Coupe de la Ligue - Lost to SM Caen 2-1

Kylian Mbappé 1k Challenge:

Not such a boy wonder anymore as he turned 31 this season. Slight sign of physical decline but nothing too heavy. I put the slight decline down to the “several” injuries he received this year which limited his game time to 52 matches. He still managed 88 goals in those games though so it’s all good and we’re still on track with him needing less than 300 goals now.

Kai Havertz Assists Challenge:

This not so young anymore chap has ventured into his thirties now too and if I’m not mistaken there’s a very visible sign of physical decline. I’m fairly certain his attributes were a lot higher last season. Anyhow, Havertz impressed once again this year with 46 assists and 30 goals. I’d like him to be on 500+ goals and assists by the end of this one, and if I take away his 4 goals for Leverkusen it leaves him on 413 so there’s a very good possibility of it happening

Assists: 652

 

Triple Threat Assists Challenge:

Comfortably beat this challenge now, it’s all about showcasing Alaba in his twilight years now. His technical and mental attributes are holding up very well for a 37 year old and his physicals are still in the blue for now. There’s a possibility that this man will play into his 40’s which I’m absolutely delighted with. What a trooper. 10 assists from the Austrian this season and that puts the combined total up to 960 assists. Next season will surely see us hit the 1000 mark which I’d be delighted with, although I wasn’t expecting it!

Yeah, great stuff, truly impressive. Mbappe still has his pace which is good. I'm going to watch with interest how he degrades in comparison with Pinamonti (who is starting on that downhill slide right now). 

1000 in the TTAC? I'm sure you'll get there next season, which is just amazing!

Around the same rate as he scores from corners. Which is quite a bit actually, I put it down to his high movement attribute. I’d say Kai gets about 15ish assists from free kicks throughout the season. Around 15-20 from corners and the rest from open play

Kylian Mbappé 1K Challenge:

As you can see from Cup finals alone he’s been in blistering form all season. Missed the last three weeks due to injury which reflects in his attributes as they have dropped slightly, I expect them to pick back up again (hopefully). I tried forcing him back early from injury to be honest and it didn’t quite go to plan as he put in some very mediocre performances towards the end of the season. His overall form was absolutely brilliant though, with a six goal haul, 2x five goal hauls and 4x four goal hauls throughout the season. He ends up breaking the 100 mark once again at the grand old age of 32, netting 101 in 55 games. He’s 195 goals away from 1.5K and with plenty of time to do it in. Let’s hope these injuries don’t become a regular occurrence.

Kai Havertz Assists Challenge:

The more goals we score, the more chance there is of this man being the provider. He delivers once again this year with 55 assists and has now broken the 700 mark.

Triple Threat Assists Challenge:

Before we go into how Alaba got on I must inform you that all of his stats from the opening season and prior have disappeared and wiped from his record, so it’s going to be a bit of a mission to keep track of things. The same has happened with Mbappé but his first season stats are there, everything before that has been wiped 😢 

Anyway, Alaba. Technical and Mental attributes holding up very well still. He’s still on my super intensive training too and I’ve got no plans to take him off it. Physicals have declined as expected but other than that he’s good for another season or two, he’s recently signed a new contract too which should keep him happy. Anyway 14 assists through the season for the Austrian, whilst amassing 11 yellow cards. We’ve broken the 1k mark between our three players! Super happy with that.

Season Fifteen

We’re heading into the business side of this career now, with all three of our players on the decline it’s just a case of seeing it out in style.

Transfers

Outgoing:

Three players leaving this year, mostly due to unhappiness at the lack of playing time, but it was also a lack of connection on my behalf with the three.

Incoming:

Four new players arriving, and we splash the maximum fee on a certain Portuguese winker...ughhh I meant winger! Banse is a classy German Midfielder of the Khedira mould. Benassi is an Italian center half who slots straight into the first XI and Rehfeldt is a German right back who will be a backup player at best.

 

Competitions:

• Trophée des Champions- Beat Monaco 3-1, Mbappé scoring a brace
• European Super Cup - Beat Benfica 9-3, yes 9-3, Mbappé scoring six, yes six goals!
• Club World Cup - Beat Racing Club 6-2, Mbappé with one goal
• Coupe de la Ligue - Beat Monaco 3-1, Mbappé with one goal
• French Cup - Beat Nice 3-2, Mbappé with one goal
• League - Drew twice and lost once but still convincingly won, and scored 160 goals along the way
• Champions League- Beat Man City 5-0 after an early red card to one of their players, Mbappé capitalised with a hatrick and a 39 year old David Alaba became the oldest Champions Leaguen goalscorer in history with the opening goal

He’s lost another yard of pace this year but despite the injuries he’s suffered over the years he’s holding up really well. 91 goals this time around for the Frenchman takes his total up to 1,396 goals. 104 goals to go! Two seasons will probably do it

Injuries was the story for this man too unfortunately, he still managed 41 assists and 40 goals however and he’s now so close to 500/500 goals and assists.

Poor poor David Alaba, his physicals are shot by his standard, but I can’t recall a 39 year old looking this good. 7 assists from the veteran this season takes his total up to 171 and takes the Triple Threat total up to 1,103. He collected nine yellow cards this year too, which takes his total in that side challenge up to 181.

Nah mate, he is doing awesome. 91 goals at this age is fantastic and he's still looking in great shape. I do sort of wonder how much further ahead he'd have been if you'd managed to get the ITN job and if you'd had the focus on him all the the way through - he'd have already cracked the 1.5K by now I reckon.

Season Sixteen

This is it, surely the penultimate season of this career. We are nearly there, 104 goals from Mbappé will see him smash the 1.5K mark that was set when this challenge was born. Two more seasons should be enough.

Transfers

Outgoing:

Just the two outgoing transfers, and one of them is my favourite player of this save except for Alaba,Havertz and Mbappé. I’m talking about my Gareth Bale regen John Wilmot who to look at is absolutely fantastic with 20’s all over the shop. Unfortunately as you can see below he is way too injury prone.

To sell him for his £160m face value is a bonus and I just hope it doesn’t come and bite us on the backside! 

Incoming:

That left us needing a left winger, and I got one in the shape of a Brazilian from Juventus, not as good as Wilmot but he’s certainly got the right tools in his locker to do a job.

He’s definitely on the decline as he loses two points of pace whilst his stamina and strength drop to the blue. His technical and mental attributes are still world class so them alone should see him over the line. In the end 88 goals in 55 matches is a great return for a striker of his age and leaves us needing only 16 goals to beat this challenge!

Kai Havertz Assists Challenge:

Now this man has dropped out of nowhere! A couple of injuries this year including a two month spell out at one point, sees his attributes shot! Drops to low blues in physical and his technical has also taken a huge hit! How did it reflect on his performances though? 38 assists in 49 games is what he mustered, and all things considered I’m happy with that. He’s now passed the 500 goals mark too which is excellent.

Goals: 512

Assists: 786

 

Triple Threat Assists Challenge:

Finally, David Alaba. The 40 year old left back who just keeps on giving. His attributes are gone, with his physical ones into single figures. Whilst his technicals have also taken a blow. He did however manage to play more games this year and also managed more assists. Brilliant 😁 12 assists and 6 yellow cards in total for this incredible player.

Season Seventeen: The Final Update

Well lads, this is it. 16 goals from Mbappé is all we need for me to wrap up this career. It’s been a long career and its one that brings my FMM18 days to an end also! I’ve had a hell of a year here on Vibe and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I’d like to thank every single person who has commented on this and all of my other careers, it’s certainly what motivated me to keep posting challenge after challenge. So without further ado, let’s dive straight into the final season of The Power of Five.

 

Transfers

Outgoing:

 Just the one player departing this season. I wasn’t planning to do anything drastic.

Incoming:

Or was I?! I pumped all of my wage budget into my transfer kitty and I had a little over £1billion to spend. Last season, last transfer market hurrah and all that. I bought five of the best players I could and spent a whopping £708million in my final year in charge 😛 Didn’t have any plans for them to be honest but at least it weakens my Champions League rivals a little bit!

Competitions:

• Trophée des Champions- Beat Bordeaux 3-3 (5-4 Penalties), Mbappé scoring a brace
• Coupe de la Ligue - Beat Bordeaux 3-0, Mbappé scoring another brace
• French Cup - Beat Guingamp 4-2, Mbappé scoring an injury time decisive blow to lift the trophy
• League - We win our seventeenth consecutive league title. We actually lost four games this season too! The aftermath of an aging squad I’m afraid.
• Champions League - We defeat Man Utd 5-3 in the final with Mbappé netting the fourth. It was a case of destroying the premier league in the knockout rounds as we beat Man City in the last 16, Liverpool in the Quarters and Arsenal in the Semis

We scored exactly 4000 goals throughout the career, giving us a huge goal percentage total of 3.67 goals per game.

 

Kylian Mbappé 1.5K Challenge:

Here we go then. How did 35 year old Kylian Mbappé finish this career off? Did he hit the required 16 goals to beat the 1.5k mark?...

Of course he bloody did!  71 goals from the veteran wonderkid sees him finish this career with a whopping 1,555 goals! Steadily declining, and I feel like now is the right time to walk away. I could certainly carry on and get more goals, but to be honest I’m absolutely delighted to break my 1.5k duck.

Goals: 1,555

 

Kai Havertz Assists Challenge:

This not so young man has deteriorated so much in the past two seasons! He’s been a wonderful servant for the club though and he finishes his career under my management having scored 545 goals and assisted another 820! 34 assists this year is not what I’m used to from him but it’s still a decent total to finish off with.

Triple Threat Assists Challenge:

Well well, look at the sight of this. As @PriZe said to me when I showed him the screenshot, this man is the definition of a Demi-God. Pace - 2 Stamina - 1, Strength- 4 😂 But those technical attributes are still holding up well for a 41 year old! Still got plenty of greens on the board despite his age. He was actually worse off at the start of the season but put in some decent performances in training which boosted him up a little bit again. He ends the season and his career having played 25 games and assisted 6 goals. He also received 5 yellow cards in the Bad Boys side challenge! 

We finish this part of the career with a grand total of 1,231 assists between our terrific trio of players.

Congrats mate, what an EPIC career!! Although I'm impressed by all of it, I have to single out Havertz's 820 assists as the highlight. That is just .... got no words for that actually! Rest was all epic too and major props for the 1.5KC. Coming at you! 🙂

As for you splashing the cash on players, that made me check and I still have £2.44B in my bank account. Tempted to splash out myself! Probably too committed to the existing youngsters to do so though...

As for the Bad Boys challenge, will be happy to put you into the lead there. You say above 192 yellow cards, but the screenshot shows 167? I'll assume Alaba had no other yellow cards before he joined you as I know he joined in season 1 (no need for screenshots there).
