Chat TIL: Money from one season DOES carry over to the next

I've just tested this - I had £34m going into July and got an ~£80m budget for the summer, then I reloaded, spent some money so I had ~£10m going into the next season and got a £48m budget for the summer. Why there was a differential in the boost I got in July is unclear but there is definitely money that gets carried over; perhaps the board prefer you to save money until the summer and reward this stringent spending with a higher budget.

Hmm, I wonder if it's down to percentages somehow, so the more you have, the more you get? Or maybe it's random? Really not sure how it works. I always move everything into the wage budget before starting a new season, so I've never noticed this! Would be good to learn more about it.

I always pile it all in the wage budget at the end of the previous season too. Only a few times I've forgot to do it and the budgets always seemed to be "reset".
