Help Question about save scumming

Quick disclaimer, i don't use save scumming on my main saves. I just have a side save where I'm managing Palermo and I've been save scumming on it because I'm saving my patience for my main save.

Anyways, I was wondering if save scumming can affect the outcome of a coaching exam? I'm trying to get a specific coach with a poor aptitude from silver to gold before I make him my assistant manager. However, numerous attempts have had no effect on the outcome of the exam.

Just wondering if anyone else has tried this successfully...

It will eventually work, but with poor aptitude it will take a while.

The game is much more rewarding long term if you accept that the are highs AND lows,  even if it is "just a side save".
