PilgrimAsh attempts The Slab Head Brothers One Season Challenge

so after witnessing a great H2H between @Damilare and @Kanegan I decided I would give this challenge a proper run through and see if I can nurture these two defenders into all time premiership striking greats. 

The Challenge -set by @Foxy

You will need to take over at Leicester City and buy Laurence Maguire. The task is then to get the pair of them to score as many goals between them as you can in one season.

Scoring

1pt per Harry Maguire goal.

5pts per Laurence Maguire goal.

league points 

 

Rules

Take over Leicester City and buy Laurence Maguire from Chesterfield.

Harry and Laurence must both play up front.

Goals in all competitions count. 

You may make as many transfers as you want.

No unlockables

No cheating including reloading, editors etc.

Evidence must be produced to make the leaderboard. I suggest you post a career thread.

If asked you must produce the save and failure to do so will result in a disqualification.

 

My results

it was a long hard season full of many downs and huge struggles but as you can see Harry hit the heights some strikers or should I say most strikers would be proud of, his brother on the other hand only bagged a few but with his goals being worth 5 each, all in all it wasn’t a bad return. I managaed to avoid relegation which I really thought I wouldn’t considering my really abysmal run of form during the league. We actually managed to come a respectable 14th. Now I know it’s not the title winning run they had a few seasons back but with two slab heads upfront I think it’s a pretty ok finish. (That goal difference though) 

 

 

The Results

As you can see Harry had a great season banging in 33 with 4 assists and his brother Laurence hitting 4 with 6 assists.

Harry 33 = 33pts

Laurence 4 = 20pts

league pts = 39

total 92

I was really surprised how well he did tbh, he didn’t retrain though! He kept up the training for the whole season but no improvement on that front from either of them.

It was wasn’t it, and really did make up for a  iffy season. I don’t manage in the Prem that often and struggle to get any consistency after the last update. 

Now that I’ve seen the likes of @Woody and @scratch99 are attempting this I’m sure it will only be for a few more hours lol 😂
