Tactics 442 Diamond Tactic Smashing Man City EME

So I just started a save with Leicester after I accidentally lost all of my saves and data such as reputation and badges when I reset my phone. I was fiddling around with a tactic and found some amazing results. Don't mind the first two loses that was when I was experimenting with a counter attack tactic that didn't work.

Will do mate the dreaded January slump hit my defense hard but surprisingly not my attack will post screenshots shortly

 Goals were easy to come by but the defending near the end of the season was poor as Huth and Morgan Started to run out of steam should be better next season as I brought in Tah and Diop with Maguire on the bench.

Yeah the better defenders will help no end. Pace is key!

Your goal tally is brilliant for s1....so im expecting more goals nxt season and better goals against with those top editions.

Thanks lad It just a matter of experimenting at the moment with attack as I still look to find a proper deep lying forward Okazaki does the job but is ageing. Anyway should be could to see how the defense holds up and with Leicester having enough attacking players I think I will be focusing on the defense the most.

Mahrez as a ss was a bit of a punt but I wanted him work with the dlf to create chances for himself using the dlf for one twos and so on which to my surprize work very well as mahrez ended on about 20 goals with Iheanacho and diabate (the dlfs) having a combined 22 assists. 

In terms of defense the double bpd was an idea I found somewhere on here. The wing backs offer the width If required but between all of them they only managed around 8 assists combined.

May be worth trying without ‘look for overlap’ ticked as, for me, WBs naturally overlap and it’s best to leave them to their own choices on to when to cross.

I agree as when you think about it you only have the WB’s wide so who will they actually be overlapping  you are set on attacking they will naturally get forwards anyway so long as they have the pace and stamina to do so.

I’ve always found having “early crosses” switched on helps on the defensive side of things, whilst not taking away from the attack if you’ve got pacy forwards to get on the end of the crosses. Counter attacking goals are a huge part of the match engine imo so this sort of counters that

Yeah could be worth a shot so far defense seems to be the real weak part of the tactic

Yes, move the DLP up the the centre midfield line! That defensive midfield position is cursed I tell ya!

sweet yeah I agree with the defensive midfeilder being horrible needs to be change in fmm 19 as I have always liked a dm thanks for the suggestions
