Live from the Black Cat Industries Arena in Hetton Le Hole, County Durham it’s the 2018 Vibe awards and here’s your host for this evening Sexy Sue.
Welcome one and all to the 2018 Vibe awards as we celebrate all that has been good this year on Vibe. I see many famous faces in the crowd tonight for this prestigious occasion and our roving reporter Colin Sale has been out on the red carpet talking to some of the stars that are hoping to bring home an award tonight
Thank you Sue, unfortunately I have to inform you the journalistic powerhouse that is @Ashez will be on the red carpet for you this evening as Colin may or may not be in the boot of my car. During my time as Rangers manager I lifted an incredible one hundred and forty seven trophies so what could some former player add to the proceedings anyway.
Unfortunately while delivering said information I missed my chance to interview Gethin Jones as the Fleetwood player was rushed down the carpet, I'm now hearing he was rushed to keep him away from a long term stalker who is rumoured to be in attendance tonight. Thankfully other people more worthy of my time are starting to approach my area, @Woody, Woody, can I have a word please?
Considering you've been nominated for two fails as well as best member I have to ask what your views are on being Vibes loveable site clown? Is it something you embrace or is it something you'll aim to change in 2019?
Haha....lovable clown eh? I suppose i dont mind, i put it down to a busy work life and big fingers. Hopefully i will bring more clownliness to FM19
Thank you Woody and best of luck tonight, ah if you look down the carpet to the left you'll see @PriZe stumbling, it appears the Dutchman has had one too many Bacardi Breezers in anticipation for tonight's event. Sam, Sam, Sam, oh you ignorant ti.....@Titjes welcome to my booth!
This has been your first year on Vibe and your hard work has been awarded with two nominations, so I must ask what are your views on this year for Vibe and yourself?
After lurking in the shadows during FMM2017, I created an account and it's been fantastic since then with this great vibe-family. I had lots of fun with the challenges and cups this year and got to know some great people, my only regret is that I had to much personal stuff going on and could not complete the tournaments. I'm very happy that I got nominated in 2 categories (let's hope I win 1). Now I have a bit more free time again so FMM19 will be a blast
Cracking response @Titjes, I wish you a good evening! Hang on! Is that? Could it be? Has @BatiGoal made a rare appearance?.......Sorry folks I appear mistaken as it's just a security guard escorting @Damilare up the walkway with a cardboard cup of some hot substance in hand.
Adam! Adam! Mr Armstrong! Are you available for a comment? Oh shoot I mean @Scratch, Scratch any chance of an interview?
I believe you got into the competitive scene late with 2018, did this give you an advantage as the ground work was done or was it a disadvantage as you had to play catch up?
Yeah, I didn't start my first real career until July! To be honest I felt it was a disadvantage. I missed the ground work done by others as I couldn't bring myself to spend time on the 2018 forum while I was still stuck in 2017 (with a 1KC). It took me a while to get to grips with the changes (like the new tactical system), and worst of all for a 1KC fanatic like me, I missed all the high scoring 'bugs' in early versions!!
Thank you Scratch but man you really do look like Adam Armstrong. Ah there is McAndrew at the start of the carpet and he's approaching fast, huh? What's he doing? He appears to stop mid stride, which is followed by turning around and walking away, it's like he started his entrance yet never got around to finishing it.
While we wait for what looks like the final attendee to reach us I'd like to thank tonights red carpet sponsor "Isak’s 1kc - The obvious choice for all your 1kc needs" and with that @Aaron55 is here, welcome friend
You got nominated for Vibe career of the year, I was wondering how this made you feel? Do you have any future plans for 2019?
It was so unexpected, but it was great to know people must have enjoyed following my career. I have a plan for 2019, and I hope people will enjoy following that too!
With that lets head back to.......Wait, hold it there Sue, it looks like one final manager is running late to the event, it's....It's.....It's @Nucleus and he's flying down the carpet at tremendous speed! He appears to be shouting something, I think he's shouting Gethin! Yes, yes he's shouting Gethin Jones at the top of his voice! With that bizarre development let's head back to your host Sexy Sue.
Sexy Sue!
Sexy Sue!?!
SEXY SUE!!!!!
Oh sorry @Ashez I was miles away thinking about Woody's big fingers!
Right! Lets get on with the show.
All week Vibe members from around the world have been voting in the polls and the votes are in and have been independently verified by Helmut Schmaker at the ICTA headquarters in Zurich.
Best Vibe Member – Sponsored by PriZe’s Alpaca Farm
One member was way out in front in this category.
Some say he isn’t really a Fox at all and that by night he goes by the name Gloucestershire Gladiator.
Before the final award we have some music for you all. It is a well known fact that Dave Grohl is a huge FMM fan and visits Vibe regularly under a pseudonym so it give me huge pleasure to welcome The Foo Fighters on to the stage perform one of if not there greatest songs Everlong!!!
Spoiler
Simply Amazing!!!
Now we have one final award to hand out and it is a special one so please welcome @samhardy to the stage as he hands out the inaugural….
Samhardy Award – Sponsored by Black Cat Meth Labs
One final award to dish out tonight and that goes to the legendary @Ashez. Not a day goes by where vibe isn't thankful for the Shrewsbury Supreme however it's safe to say this isn't an award he was expecting to receive tonight.
During Simon Grayson's brief spell in charge of Sunderland I never thought I would hear a man ask as many rhetorical questions in such a short period of time however this year Ashez' essay count has increased both in the Nintendo thread and especially PM's, anyone who has a PM with Ashez will no doubt receive an essay/rant at some point and that is bound to include a rhetorical question somewhere.
Most rhetorical questions asked in one year (potential Guinness World Record) - @Ashez
That brings us to the end of the show, it has been a excellent year on Vibe with some great careers, and moments and all that is left to do is say thank you to @Ashezand @samhardy for there contributions and everyone who voted and thank you for reading.

Best Vibe Member – Sponsored by PriZe’s Alpaca Farm
One member was way out in front in this category.
Some say he isn’t really a Fox at all and that by night he goes by the name Gloucestershire Gladiator.
Best Vibe Member 2018 is @Foxy.
Best Staff Member – Sponsored by Ashez’s Collectable Collection of Collectables
Another runaway winner in this category.
Some say he will be capitalising on his success in this poll by running for the job of Nigerian President.
Best Staff Member 2018 is @olayinkajnr for his work on the social media pages.
Best Career – Sponsored by Rob2017 Tennis Academy
The third category in a row with a runaway winner.
Some say he keeps a picture of Fiete Arp next to his bed and renamed his dog Goretzka.
Best Vibe Career 2018 is @Foxy Teutonic Treble
Best Article – Sponsored by Batigoal Vanishing Cream
One article seemed to have captured the Vibers attention above all others this year.
Some say that one half of this duo is a scary scouse loving clown whilst the other is just a glorified ginger dog.
Best Article 2018: @Ashez and @Foxy Tiki Taka
Best community Event – Sponsored by The Gethin Jones Fan Club
We had some great events this year and this was reflected by a close poll.
Some say he taught Gareth Bale everything he knows and that he discovered Harvey Barnes.
Best Community Event 2018 is @samhardy Vibe Premier League
Fail of the Year – Sponsored by Helmut Schmaker Tissues
This was a massively tight poll with only 1 vote between the winner and the 2nd place.
Some say he has the DP he does due to the size of his pecker and that his “big fingers” are the key to his success.
Fail of 2018 is @Woody knocking himself out of the VPL by not submitting when a score of 1 would have been enough.
Best H2H – Sponsored by Woody’s Mankini’s
Another close poll that went right down to the wire.
Some say they are the only one’s who had a clue what was going on in this H2H but clearly it was enjoyed either way.
Best H2H 2018 is the @samhardy v @Ashez at The Crucible.
Best Newcomer – Sponsored by Damilare’s Hot Substances
Two new members made a real impression this year.
Some say that he doesn’t need a striker to be successful over and over and…
Best Newcomer 2018 is @Rob2017
