Tactics My attempt to match Spalletti’s Internazionale gameplan

Hi everyone,

ive has some solid results with this set up so far. 

Its not perfect and I ship a few more goals than I’d like but offensively I’m blowing teams away. 

Fwiw I’m very conservative in game and when I’ve got the same ‘sealed’ I tend to switch to a more defensive 433 style. Ie dropping my SS back into a mid 3 as an AP

let me know how it works for you or if you solve the defensive concerns 

 

EDIT- this was based on an FMM18 set up originally but I can’t remember which one, so if you recognise some parts, it may have been yours originally

Changing the wing backs to full backs used to help defensively in last years game. You could try that.

This works really well. Finished my 1st season with Southampton, finished 7th and won the carabao cup. But conceding goals is a big issue.

Change WB to FB.

I have and dropped the offside trap as against big teams it was a liability.

I’ve enjoyed this formation so far ... I finished 6th in the league and had a fairly uneventful cup runs but in my 2nd season  I won the league and the FA Cup and was knocked out by PSG in the Euro cup semis 

I do find it at times to be abit inconsistent, easily beating the top teams ( apart from PSG ) but losing to the “lesser” teams especially away from home!! A top centre half pairing is a must imo and who’d have thought that Niasse would be a GOAT

It was solid enough, but i found it became too predictable and the AI would set up as contain and defend... then score a lucky counter or corner (or 35 yard screamer)

It works well for the first 1/2 seasons, but then peters out. 

I may return to it, but for now I'm using the 424 from Batigol

I have seen at alot of tactics for now, maybe you could adjust one or to things in the playingstyle and it would work like a charm again :)?

Just started a save with this tactic at Inter and it is working like an absolute dream

 

I'm 19 games into the league and I've won 18 and drew 1 !

If this form keeps up, I'll be lifting the title by February lol

I also beat Real Madrid twice in group stage of CL - which meant they got knocked out 😂

 

Anyway I took a few screenshots to display just how effective this tactic is :

 

 

Top of the league unbeaten .. just one draw!!

Other attacking players have been injured a lot.. but Icardi and Perisic been doing the business

😄😄😄

 

Conceeded just six goals so far 

This tactic is EPIC

 

It seems to keep most positions' players with fairly high - high average ratings as well

are you using the original system or the modified with FB in place of the WB?
