SEASON THREE - TRANSFERS.

After last seasons title win, I wanted to ensure we strengthened the squad for Champions League football.

As you will see, we are in a great financial position... long gone are the days of administration.

Below is a full review of my signings. 

Scott McKenna.

The former Aberdeen centre half joins on loan, from Man Utd. He’s an ideal replacement for Niko Katic who left the club for 17 million. 

Hopefully I can pick him up on a permanent deal eventually. 

Oli Burke.

The signing I am most excited about. Ever since I started this save, I wanted to sign this lad. 

I am in the process of re-training him as a Shadow Striker. I feel he can be the Scottish Gareth Bale, which shows the belief I have in him. 

Ev Nabiullin.

The Russian international swaps Barcelona for Glasgow. He is a great winger and will hopefully help Morelos score even more goals, this season. 

Lewis Ferguson.

His dad Derek and uncle Barry were famous players for Rangers. I’m hoping he can follow in their footsteps and become a legend. 

He joins on a free after his contract at Aberdeen expired. 

Szymon Zurkowski

I initially tried to sign this Polish youngster in season one. He opted to sign for Deportivo La Coruna instead, but I kept him on my shortlist, and pounced when the time was right. 

He is a great all-round midfielder and hasn’t fully developed yet. Expect big things from Szy.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FOOTBALL.

We qualify for the Champions League, although we did have to fight for our place. We faced 3x qualifying rounds, something I want to change in the future. 

Hopefully if I’m successful the coefficient will improve.

GROUP STAGE.

A very tough group. We face up against Barca, Zenit and Lyon. 

Our squad is much better than last season so hopefully we can compete.
