Season 8 Update

No need for further introductions, let's just get on with season 8. Will it be his best so far?

Not going to say much as it's just graduations and free releases.

Competitions

• 1st in the league again with 96 points racked up and 108 goals scored
• Lost in the community shield 1-0 to Man City
• Won the Euro Super Cup against Schalke 04 3-2 with a brace from Pellegri
• Won the Club World Champs by beating SPO 5-1, Pellegri with a Hat-trick
• Lost in the Carabao Cup Quarters to a Pickford led Everton team on Penalties
• Lost 4-3 to Man City in the FA Cup Semis
• and Won the Champs Cup by beating PSG 2 goals to 1

The Main Man

Pellegri was prolific as usual, and he scored the same amount of goals as last season in 2 matches less. one 2 weeks injury over the season

We then met Juventus in the Champions Cup Semi First Leg where he scored a goal to make it 95. but we lost the match 5-2 with the future looking bleak on him entering the 100 club..as if we lose this, there's 1 less match to play in.

In the Huddersfield match he bagged a brace, which I did via calculation due to me missing the screenshot of the match. but it all adds up in the end. Comes the 2nd leg of the semi finals and he scored (click the spoilers will you?)

A hat-trick along with the rest bagging some goals as we ravaged Juve in the second leg. With this he hits 100 goals for the club.

So we made it to the finals of the champs league, 1 more match for him to potentially score in to add on to his 100 goals. Before that though, Chelsea comes first in the final BPL match

Season 9 Update

Finished season 9 this morning while I had time, and now writing on the results. Can Pellegri repeat his feat last season of 100 or more goals? Let's get on with it then.

Good news for the boss. INT is now available and the boss went and applied for the job:

Vinicius Junior is the latest addition, with hope that he can get his crossing up, as he's billed as an advanced playmaker in his profile

Competitions

• 1st in the league again with 98 points racked up and 119 goals scored
• Won and had our revenge in the community shield 1-0 to Man City
• Won the Euro Super Cup beating bayern 2-1 with a goal from Pellegri
• Won the Club World Champs by beating NYCFC 4-1, Pellegri scoring a brace
• Triumphed in the Carabao Cup beating newcastle in the final with 4 goals from the star himself
• WOn in a close fought match against Liverpool 3-2 in the FA cup final
• A Geubbels inspired Juve team pipped us to the title winning against us 5-4

Finally, we are in the international playing ground, taking the job as the boss of Italy:

So 4 International Goals this season, out of 7 matches played for the main man. Let's get into his performance

The Main Man

Pellegri played a total of 67 match, 9 more than last season's 58,  with only one Injury for a month after the season was over with and he ended up scoring an even more awesome:

117 goals! 13 more than last season, but with 9 games more the goals per match ratio is lower than the last, yet I'm thrilled that he scored that much in a single season. a new record for this career.

I've stretched the target to 1.5K now that ITN job is under the belt. His tally is now:

International Goals (Season): 4

Club Goals (Total): 593+117 = 710

International Goals (Total) = 4

1.5KC total = 714/1500 (786 to go)

@URz Indeed. Especially in matches against minnows. But the morale of the squad can be topsy turvy because of club issues at times.

Thanks! The support around him helped him immensely. The amount of goals scored by other players were minimal in the seasons he was free scoring.

Season 10 Update

Haven't had the chance to play much let alone write an update, until now. Last season marks the entry of the Last Boss as manager of Italy, the nation Pellegri is playing for. Will that make a difference to his results? Let's get into it.

• Won the league, only losing 2 matches with 114 goals scored and 108 pts racked up
• Lost 4-2 to Liverpool in the Community Shield
• Won the Carabao Cup, in a close match where we won 1-0 against West Brom with Pellegri scoring the sole goal
• Crashed out in the FA Cup Fifth Round to Man City, with a scoreline of 1-0
• Beat Milan 4-2 in the Champions Cup Final, Pellegri grabbing a goal

International Job

This season marks the qualifiers and group matches of the European Championship. With many games to play for let's see how Italy did:

We had 2 friendlies in between, but Pellegri was injured in both those matches so I didn't bother screen shooting those matches.

The Main Man

Pellegri was injured for a month during a key period of the season, and as a result, only played 52 matches in club play. He racked up a decent 78 goals and 8 assists nonetheless from those matches. He also played in 9 ITN matches scoring 20 goals in the process.

Starts off with the continuation of the European Championship, which we went off all the way to the final and won the trophy at the end by besting France.

We then have some European League Matches and some friendlies which I've only captured matches Pellegri scored in:

Won third place in the international league.

Club

• Won the league, this time a closer fight than previous season, but free scoring more with 137 goals
• City was a constant thorn to my side this season, beating us in the Community Shield, FA Cup and Carabao Cup. No screenshot for some of them as Pellegri was injured at the time and I couldnt be bothered
• Won the Euro Super Cup and Club World Championship
• Beat Juve 2-1 in the Champions Cup Final, Pellegri scoring both goals

It seems the game has figured out how to stop the players from meeting their targets: Injuries

And with those injuries, Pellegri only got to play in 41 matches, 11 games lesser than last year. But he performed admirably by scoring the same amount of goals he amassed last year of 78 goals, although below the desired level required for me to meet the 1.5KC target.

Just 1 goal short to make the 900 goal cut. But with injuries hitting him hard, I believe it's a good result nonetheless. let's hope he stays fit in the next ones, for me to have a chance to get to the stretch target. 1KC meanwhile, is within reach.

I have a question to the senior members here, when I count my ITN job tally which of the following should I take:

Pellegri had scored 50 goals for his nation as I took over the Italy job:

Do I take the total tally including Friendlies minus the 50 above from his profile page:

or do i only add up those that appear in his history page?

Nonetheless, he played 58 matches in total for club, and scores 81 goals in total in addition to 11 assists.

While for International, I had to recalculate everything, and as it stands, he's scored 55 goals while i'm in charge, with 20 goals coming in this season.

He was a beast in my "5 in 1" career in FMM18
