I, too, have been hit by FMM burnout. Seems to be spreading around, this.

The only thing keeping me going is the prospect of gaining a junior. Now am in 9th season with 2 players announced retirement at the end of season, so won't be long now.

Looking at this thread rekindle a long lost fire within. Am going to play, exactly after I hit "Submit reply".

Season Nineteen 

I realise that a Saturday night isn’t the best time to post an update, but I’ve got some time to burn, and time is money!

Absolute sod all in or out once again this year. I felt no need to make any drastic changes to the squad this late in the career

• European Super Cup - Beat Dortmund 6-1
• Club World Cup - Beat Flamengo 5-0
• League Cup - Beat Braga 2-1
• Taça de Portugal - Beat Guimaraes 4-0
• League - Smashed the competition out the park and ended up 30 points clear for my 19th straight league title 😛
• Champions League - Beat Barcelona 4-1 for my 16th Champions League Crown 😛

Absolutely delighted to return this season with a clean sweep after the shit show that was the Taça de Portugal in the previous update.

80 goals is what we need this season to finally cross over the line after months of playing this save!

With less international games this year, Silva only managed 13 goals in that department this season. That puts him on 323 international goals however which is a stunning return by all accounts! This left him needing 67 club goals this season to reach the landmark total.

He’s massively deteriorated as a player. Understandably so too considering he’s 34!

A two month injury towards the back end of the season didn’t help matters either, and he ended up missing the last few games of the season, including the Taça final and Champions League Final.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Still, he’s only gone and bloody done it!!!!

81 club goals this season from the now veteran striker sees him end his career with a huge total of 2014 goals!

First off I’d like to thank each and every person on here that has either viewed or commented on this career, I honestly wouldn’t have carried on without your support throughout. 23,000+ views is something I could have only dreamt of when I started this thread over two months ago, I believe this is one of Vibes most viewed careers to date, which I’m thrilled with. Secondly I’d like to thank @PriZe -god rest his soul- for pushing me to post this career, as again, if he hadn’t have given me the nudge I don’t think I would have posted. Thanks mate, yeah the views shocked me massively lol. I believe it is the highest total yes, @PriZe got 2001 goals with Isak, but he’s a bang average manager so it was obvious I’d surpass him 😛
