Posted November 9, 2018 (edited) Hi guys, This is my first carrer post so i hope that you will find it at least enjoyable 😀 After doing some build-in challenges and Garbarnia Kraków carrer i decided to try my luck in Premier League and decided to go with Wolves. I was following their efforts in Championship last season, they have a lot of young and talented players it seemed like a good pick to start with. Transfers In/Out I didn't have a big budget so i couldn't do much on a transfer market. I went for Lucas Paqueta who I think will be my go to AP this season, and I sold Joao Moutinho. He was 31 and with Paqueta in a squad i didn't really needed him. Next to guys i decided to buy were my fellow countrymans Piątek and Żurkowski. Courtesy of Tmasonn95's this is a formation i decided to go for. Season 2018/2019 Carabao Cup Not a surprise concidering i decided to focus on the League and my 2nd team played in this game. Premier League So the start of League was terrible. I got some heavy oppontents in first 4 games and couldn't do much. My defence was very leaky and even though i scored every game i wasn't able to get many points. It all changed after Arsenal game and i hope it will get better and better. Key Players Dissapointment He is my favourite Wolves player in real life but i can't seem to get anything out of him. I'm looking for some around 30M euro DLP to replace him. Can you help me with that ? Edited November 9, 2018 by Villen 0 Quote Report Share
Posted November 9, 2018 Keep Neves, he is still very young so will improve. 0 Quote Report Share
Posted November 9, 2018 DM position tends to be quite problematic in the latest editions(players used there often get low ratings), so I don't there's anything wrong with Neves. Try moving him up, in a CM position, and you will see his ratings improve for sure. 0 Quote Report Share

Well you are right about DM position, but i'm using him as CM on a Deep Lying Playmaker role so i think with his skills rating should be higher. 0 Quote Report Share
Posted November 9, 2018 The other half of the season Winter Transfer Window I needed to get rid of some players in order to improve my defence. Afobe, Cavaleiro, Enobakhare and Hause left my team to make room for... which i got for 30 mln + Adama Traore. As it turned out later on he wasn't the playing up to his standards, but i will give him chance next season and hopefully he will be one of the leaders. Premier League So there was a big improvement and i even got a chance for Champions League but my last game with Leicester ruined it. I'll try to make it next season but the biggest task will be to keep my best players cause they want to move to bigger team. Best player of the season. 40 goals in the league. BEAST ! Posted November 9, 2018 Some end to the season! Just missed out on CL, unfortunate there, but what a statement you've made. The expectations are sky high for next year. 0 Quote Report Share
Posted November 9, 2018 (edited) I'm with @BatiGoal thats was great end to the season with some excellent results. With some top top quality signings your second season could be epic. The DM position is a pain, i have said it on here before that i use an Ancher and as long as the team performs and your doing well(which you are) then i wouldnt worry too much. Tbh i would consider maybe using him as APM in the central midifield area....you could get the best out of him then. Good luck mate. Posted November 10, 2018 Last season was a success, so i had big hopes for the next one. But i made it difficult for myself by not acting properly on transfer market. Transfers I received a lot of offers for Krzysztof Piątek, Eder Militao, Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota or Lucas Paqueta but i decided not to sell them. I got rid of few youngsters for fairly good price, but that's it. Having around 100 mln euro to spend i bought Reece Oxford, Ryan Gravenberch, Josha Vagnoman and Miguel Trauco as a backup for Ruben Vinagre. Unfortunately big teams started to make more offers for Piątek, Jota, Paqueta and Militao and they were outraged for me not accepting them. Paqueta and Militao were playing shit in 1st half and i had to sell them during winter transfer window. I also got big offer for Diogo Jota and let him go to Bayern for 61 mln. I replaced them with Hot Prospect Ryan Sessegnon and another Polish lad Jan Bednarek. I got few offers for Piątek and Neves, but decided not to sell them because my refusal didn't seem to affect their performance at all. I don't know why Neves is on transfer out list. I didn't sell him and i'm not planning to Competitions Premier League Huge dissapointment. I was struggling all season, but 2nd half was terrible. I believe at some point i lost 5 games in a row. My squad was really young this season and they weren't able to play in 4 competitions at the same time so i think their lack of experience and some injuries caused this. I even had chance to finish ahead of Arsenal, but in my last game i lost 3-2 to Everton. Carabao Cup FA Cup Euro Cup Easy group stage and 1st Knockup Roung, i was able to win most of the games with reserves. Big win ! I didn't expect that 6 goals from Piątek in that round ! Lucky quarterfinal draw and we are through to the semifinals Another great performance led us to final at my hometown Gdańsk where we were about to face Man City ! After Jesus 2 goals i thought that this is the end of terrible season, but Bonatini and Graham stepped in and made us win the trophy ! That means that we will play in Champion League playoffs next season(if SI updated rules) ! Piątek had another great season scoring 59 goals in 55 games and the most importing task for next season is keeping him and Neves in a team. Also i need to find some decent Box To Box Midfielder cause Żurkowski is not improving anymore. 0 Quote Report Share
Posted November 10, 2018 Amazing work with the Europa League mate! As an Arsenal fan I know all too well how hard it is to win a European Competition... 😥 0 Quote Report Share
Posted November 11, 2018 Shame finishing just a couple pts short of that EL spot, but then again who cares when you win the EL for a CL spot 👍 well played. Hope things go better domestically next season. 0 Quote Report Share
Posted November 11, 2018 (edited) It's not the season update, but i couldn't wait. Look at this guy. Got him from my academy. 5 stars tipped to be global super Star Edited November 11, 2018 by Villen 0 Quote Report Share
Posted November 12, 2018 (edited) So last season was ok, but the real progress came this year. Finally the players i bought last year started to show their value. Transfers During summer transfer window i felt like i need to change Goalie cause Rui Patricio wasn't getting any better that's howwe got Alex Meret, but the best score was transfer of Renato Sanches for 33.5mln. That was real bargain when i look at his performance. In the winter i needed to sell Neves to Inter(he continued to moan about transfer) and i bought Melegoni to fill a gap for him. Competitions As you can see i got a perfect start to a season. I think i managed to win first 11 premier league games and was unbeaten for around 17 if i recall correctly. European Super Cup After this win i started to believe that we can do wonders this year. Premier League I couldn't expect a better season, it went great even though we had some major injuries. Next year i will try to get more points, but it won't be easy. Carabao Cup Carabao was another success, even though we played reserves in early rounds. FA Cup Unlucky game - but at least we could focus on other games. Champions League And we made impossible. We won league and 3 cups. Can it be better next season ? Our superstar is getting better and better and i'm very happy that the others are starting to follow him. And here is our hope for next years !
