I tried wing backs and Everton do not really have decent wing backs. I wanted to try this tactic with literally the basic team without having to buy to fit the tactic. So I used fullbacks as Coleman isnt the quickest nor the best at going forward and Lucas digne I wanted to stay wide to cover my other center back. If I didn't fast sim any games I'm certain I would of only lost 1 or 2 not 9! But it's a solid tactic I may give a go with a team like arsenal or Leverkusen.

I have started a new game with Southampton I'm putting this tactic through its paces and I have to say I am impressed. Southampton few years ago had a good team now suffice to say they are in a dog fight. So i recruited in the areas needed not fantastic players. I bought in Hudson odoi on loan. Sergio Romero, Ibrahima konate on loan, James Tompkins, Antonio Valencia, nacho Monreal, hector Herrera , hakim ziyech, ivan Cavaleiro , sebastian haller. Sold all the garbage to get all the money needed. But Southampton really have a Secret weapon Already in the reserves. Sam Gallagher this guy give him game time! Or buy him for a budget team which I have gone for this game play he is incredible. For a low tier premier league team I am impressed with the players I have bought in and using this tactic with a tweak or 2 of my own its working amazing I'll post some images end of the season.

So here are the results of a whole season with Southhampton surely relegation material before I went shopping using starting budget and player sales to upgrade in the areas needed and the outcome I am very happy with.  Sam Gallagher is a prolific goalscorer give him game time and intensive training regime under poacher he will get you goals in any team I am sure of it.  (I won the fa cup dont know why it says I lost)

Used this tactic for pretty much a whole year. Absolutely amazing tactic. And its still a great tactic on this year's edition, currently on my way to winning everything first year with Liverpool.

I am using it also with liverpool however tweaked it a little with having Robertson and trent at wing backs instead of full backs.
