This was the final league table.

In total we lost 16 players through the season including some real top lads like Lukaku, Martial, Zaha and my boy Barkley.

All those top players we lost were also gained up some point as we won 97 players during this season and in the case of Aguero and Danny Rose we won them twice.

Player Stats

The appearances list shows who I managed to keep hold of for a good amount of time. With defenders not getting as high ratings I was able to keep hold of Gibson and Cahill who created a formidable partnership at the back during the season.

Eden Hazard was the key man and my highest rated player with LWB Charlie Taylor, a steal from Burnley performing well to.

Eden Hazard was our top scorer although with 10 goals in 8 games it’s likely Martial would have scored more if he had stayed but then Hazard did get moved between IF, SS and LW a lot depending on who my latest steal was.

No one consistently got assists which is something I find in this tactic anyway but Josh King was consistent early on with goals and assists but that was his own downfall as his performances allowed me to steal better players.

Key Man

It was a toss up between Hazard and a player who who did great things in this save Ross Barkley who went to Man City a couple of games from the end of the season. The numbers from Hazard were excellent but Barkley was key to this team in his BBM role and was my favourite player in this save.

This is what the game decided was my best XI.

All these quality players didn’t come cheap though and I did up the wage budget mid way through the season then kinda forgot about it meaning we ended up over £2m over budget 😂

Team Stats

Hazard and myself clearly impressed a few people.

Hazard just missed out on the Premier League Golden Boot by 1 goal.

He did get the most assists though.

Our defence was key to our success as we conceded the least goals.

Liverpool were more potent up front than us but that didn’t do them much good in the end.

We had the joint highest clean sheets with Man City.

We had an excellent disciplinary record through the season.

I think that is everything but I’m happy to provide anything else you might want to see if I have missed anything.

This brings this save to an end so I want to thank everyone who has followed along even if you only looked at the pictures or this is the only post you have read. Every comment, +1 or view is massively appreciated. I never expected this career to be very popular but it seems a few of you enjoyed it and I definitely enjoyed playing the save as it was really different from the usual way to play the game.

Cheers Guys.

I love the fact that Ross Barkley scored/assisted 24 goals in 31 games on the way to winning the league. To be honest i never really paid attention to him in the past. I certainly will now though.

Great stuff!

Can’t wait to see what you do next. I’ve enjoyed this career, especially how you posted it. I couldn’t see Pellegri, Silva, or Geubbel anywhere though - gutted.

Enjoyed this career a lot. This was weirdly different and completely off beat which made it a pleasure to read.

Good job done mate.

The guy is a midfield god and has been the last couple of years if you give him a chance and use him right.

Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it.

It was a helluva squad by the time I finished but it was the players from the early days of the season like Josh King that were my favourites as they were the lads that got results to start with that help boost the squad.
