Season 4 Mason Greenwood 1k

I brought in Murgia as mentioned in the previous post. Gaya was brought in to be my number 1 left wingback, Leo Ostigard was brought in for the future as was Leonardo. 

Almost certain Herminio could be Ronalds regen as he come through the youth graduation.

Claudio Gomes on loan would only aid my defence with more depth.

I allowed Fernandes to leave for Man Utd as £45.5m was a good deal in my eyes. Gabriel was unwanted so to get £20m was excellent haggling by me.

The rest were unwanted players whos contracts I allowed to run down. 

We finally win the Supertaca with a hard fought 1-0 win.

Fortunes changed in the cups finally as we win against Porto via Penalties.

With a very heavy heart I had to politelt decline my 'Dream Job' 😫

The Champions league I changed the tactic slightly in order to concede less. The tactic change worked wonders as we topped the group and demolished Napoli on both legs. 

The Final draw us against the money men of the world - PSG!

After all the hard work of getting to the Final we lost in extra time from a PSG masterclass. Cannot fault the performance as they completely bossed in the added time. 

We went on to win the league without losing a game but again I felt we draw too many.  I think it was either 6 or 8. 

Greenwood did however pick up Golden Boot for the Champions Cup with 10 goals 😎.

Better performance in the competitions however I played a weak side in the 5th round which cost me dearly.... doh!

Healthy financal state at the club and a happy board with the League wrapped up.

Mason Greenwood end of S4

Mason Greenwood was again Top Scorer in the Portuguese league with only 34 goals this time round - niggling injuries had a part to play.

Improvement by +1 to Stamina which I will happily take. Some great 10 rated performances throughout the season. 

50 apps with 54 goals this time round which is good in a sense as its above 50.

Thanks he had the injury end of season 3 and his fitness never seemed to recover. Even after I left him on bench for a few games hence less games played. He did however come to life near the end of the season so hoping he carries that over. 

The new signings will benefit the squad also.

Season 5 Greenwood 1k 

As I have posted previously December was hectic for me so I will post shorter updates in order to catch up.

So here lies season 5....

Transfers In & Out

After last years finish I decided to improve the squad further in order aid Greenwoods goals.

Brandt come in to play anywhere across the attacking line. Arnold come in on a free to boost numbers and a few regens for comfort.

The main outgoing was Jota who I was sad to see go but he didnt feature enough to worry.

End of Season review

We romped the league going unbeaten, if not for the draws we would of have a clean sweep.

Big Wins

Finally got offered the England job!!!

Unsure what this means but an added bonus none the less!

Mason Greenwood

Slightly disappointing season as he only scored 48 goals which was well off the pace. However the england job opens up more goals.

Lol noooo. I meant I got his 48 goal figure wrong. After speaking with @Nucleus i wasnt aware INT goals dont show on the games vs goals screen lol.

It’s fine I’m new too. 😀 When I did my attempt with Parrott I wasn’t sure I was getting enough goals but I got told to just target about 60 goals a season from Sam which always stuck in my mind and helped.  I was at PSG mind so I always had a fantastic squad and loads of games in the French season with the cups which was probably the only way I could’ve done it tbh.

Don’t forget you may well be able to get a good few goals out of him until he’s 35 or 36 which will knock your season average needed down a good bit.

Mason Greenwood 1k - Season 6

We go into season 6 with this being unlocked? Any ideas what this brings to the game?

I need a big season out of Mason Greenwood this year and with the England job finally mine this should only benefit the 1k attempt.

I managed to lure this beauty to the club on a FREE!

Results

 

Won the league easily but again struggled in Europe 😢. I have to win the Champs league once in this save surely!

Massively chuffed to win the league and to not lose 1 game all season was an absolute touch.

Season Review

Mason bangs in 60 goals at club level! 

He scored 3 international goals last season which I forgot to include but thank you to @Nucleus for helping me with this error.

So he scored 29 goals at International level and this aided us winning the Euro Championships beating Italy on penalties.

Mason won Best Young Player at the competition also. 

My trophy cabinet so far...
