Chat Gutted!

Was 5 seasons into a career and my phone screen randomly started flashing different colours and apparently I will need to replace my phone 🤬🤬🤬

I rarely post careers on here as my careers are quite boring but I had an idea for a 1kc with a difference and went with it. It was very up and down and at the end of season 5 I was going to start posting it.

I genuinely don’t know if I would have achieved the 1kc but it wouldn’t have mattered as the career was quite fun.

All that preparation, planning and playing time out the window now!

Anyway just wanted to have a quick moan...

Your profile says you're Android? It might be worth seeing if it will connect to a PC so you can grab any saves or personal files, no idea if it'll work but it's worth a try.

Good idea! I never thought about that as I don’t have a pc/laptop as I use my phone for absolutely everything. I can always try on someone else’s though.

My phone is/was a Galaxy S8 Plus. Currently using my work phone for the time being - iPhone 6 I think it is. I hate it though.

Yeah if the screen was the issue, I imagine the files on the phone itself can be saved.

Yeah you should be able connect up with a USB cable and just go the documents folder on the phone, not the sd card and copy over the saved games.

Dont put your saves on your pc! They wont work when you transfer them to your new phone. Copy them to dropbox or a cloud of your choice instead.

Shit when your phone goes off on one though. Had a similar problem a few years ago.

Really? Admittedly I've not moved saves to a PC since 2017 but I've never encountered that issue. Now I just back saves up on device.

Its happened to me before, put my saves on my desktop then transfered them once i got my new phone but the things wouldnt load. Came up with an error.

I may of just been unlucky but better to be on the safe side.

Thats what killed my DT attempt last year so as @Woody says use Dropbox.

It's because they did something wrong 😂 I never had that problem and I switched loads of saves last year.

All I did was put save files on my laptop to free up space  and it corrupted them which at the time SI admitted was an issue, if you use a pc to switch a file between devices its ok.

Must admit I cut the cord and used Google Drive to switch them 😛
