Tactics Making the Old New Again - WM tactic (3223)

Hi All,

Been reading up on the history of formations and classic set ups from the early to mid 20C.... Im in need of some further testing for this one to be honest, but im mid way through a season and its performing consistently well.

this is my version/interpretation of the classic WM used by the Golden Team of Hungary or the Mighty Magyars in the 1950s. So far its working very well, but I'd love to see if it works for you, or if you've found any tweaks that need to be made.

the tactic boasts solid possession and lots of chances created, so make sure your striker has his shooting boots on.

Hope it works well for you all

If we need more stability, the WB can move back (still WB role)  and the Libero moves up into a DefensiveMid position.

I chop and change the back line a little depending on the opponent. Pictured is the most stable I've found but I have also used:
-----BWM/DM-------BWM/DM------
FB---------------SW----------------FB

WB---BPD---SW---BPD---WB

The DLF I occasionally move out to an IF on the left.

BIG UPDATE...

Found a much more consistent set up after a lot of changes and testing and alterations. Tested with Liverpool only so far, but more testers welcome and feedback always appreciated.

Id recommend a speedy CB for this one
