Rob’s Season Two

I loved this season. I mean, it wasn’t 100% successful, but each pretty much every game was high scoring and bloody mental.

The Cups:

We didn’t clean sweep, getting knocked out by Citeh in the Sixth Round of the FA Cup against the run of play. The same team beat us in the League Cup final too, also against the run of play. FMM!

We did manage to nab a close Champs League final. 

The league had three losses and four draws, but plenty of goals. We actually conceded the most in the top half 😭

So the Keegan tactic is grabbing the goals and I’m half tempted to try a goalscoring career with it after the last season. I’m also a little annoyed for not picking a certain position in the draft to tweak the formation to shut up shop but that’s too late now.

I would buy a season ticket for this team because you would get plenty of excitement although I suspect a few Spurs fans have been wheeled out the stadium with heart problems!

Rob’s Season Three

And now my third season is complete. Being an utter mile behind the two tactical geniuses that are @Foxy and @Woody it doesn’t really matter how I do, so here are my final season Cups:

So that was a bit of a disaster on the domestic cup front, but okay internationally.

We won the league though.

And this was my favourite game during the season:

Admittedly I got smashed by the boys, but I had a tactic I wanted to use and ran with it. It’s actually given me a few things to think about for my next career, whenever that is.

If you had attended every game in the 3 seasons you would have witnessed just the small matter of 985 goals!!!

Value for money in my book.

Woody's Final Update: season 3.

Here it is kids my final update, i would have to post a seriously crazy season to beat @Foxy's score as i'm sure his final season is damn near perfect.

 

So 1st things 1st lets get those cup competions out the way.

Community shield.

FA Cup.

Carabao Cup.

Champions Cup.

Club Word Championships.

European Super Cup.

A clean sweep of silverware again but seems i have played Spurs in Finals alot in this save.

 

Our league form needed to be perfect but 2 draws and a single defeat put paid to that.

Im really pleased with how it went though.

 

The team performed well and as i didn't use a 1kc formation but a more rounded team one i am really chuffed especially as Havertz was used as a TM in season 3 which he shared with Silva.

 

So this is how it looked overall.

Not quite enough to beat @Foxy i dont think but i'm hoping i pushed him pretty close.

This has been another great pleasure to play and credit goes to @Rob and his Furyness who have both made yet another H2H2H...brilliant.

Foxy Season 3

This is the situation going into my update.

I need to score 164 points to secure the H2H2H over @Woody which hopefully after 2 very good seasons we will get and I won’t fall flat on my face at the final hurdle. 

The other target was to see if I could complete all 3 seasons without losing a competitive match.

That unfortunately went for a Burton in only the 2nd league game of the season as we travelled to Stamford Bridge and got beat 2-1 which frankly pissed me off more than it really should have.

 

Community Shield

This was an entertaining match and I would go so far as to say @Rob levels of entertainment.

 

European Super Cup

This was far less competitive but I found it entertaining as we rattled in 5 past Roma.

League Cup

Kylian Mbappe was in fine scoring form as we brushed Cardiff aside.

 

FA Cup

We had a repeat of the Community Shield against Man Utd and we again won it by the odd goal.

Premier League

We had another excellent season in the league but 5 dropped points meant we didn’t quite better our 111 points from season 1.

 

Champions League

This all means that a good performance in Europe will see us home in the H2H2H.

It was another final against Man Utd and for the 3rd time this season we beat them by 1 goal to lift the trophy.

 

All this means that despite the loss to Chelsea we had our best season so far with a total of 197 points.

My 2 starmen this save were definitely Mbappe who had 144 goals although he was pushed by Dybala who had 99 goals in the 3 seasons.

It was Douglas Costa who had the most assists with 75 ahead of Dybala who had 66.

That brings the H2H2H to an end. I want to thank @Rob for coming up with this fun idea and @Woody for bring his usual enthusiasm. It’s easy to say when you win but I have really enjoyed this but for me the best part was the draft as we picked all our players and hoping no one would take a key man in my plans and if they did which alternative I would go for instead.
