Hi, 

I liked the look of this challenge and thought I’d give it a go

My first signing was Conor Hourihane who I saw play for Barnsley a few years ago and he was class but playing against Sheffield Wednesday is a bit different to playing for Juventus.

So I sold Bernadeschi a couple of seasons ago but I bought him back for the challenge.

Good luck! I’ve just finished this challenge but haven’t wrote the last part up. It was very enjoyable. 

I had looked at hourihane for the Irish one but in the end went with Hendrick.

A different choice. I’ve just started a slow save attempt at this too so I will be watching with great interest.

The first season went well with Hourihane bagging 26 goals and supplying another 12, he scored 1 hat-trick (vs Napoli) but managed to get his only red card in the same game. Overall he helped Juventus to yet another Seria A title and 2 cup wins, The only competition which they failed to win was the champions league where they got knocked out by Barcelona (7-8 on aggregate) in the second round. I sold Rugani, Can and Benatia as they were unhappy about there game time and brought in Casemiro for 60 million.

Yes, he wasn’t part of my plan and would of never got a game

I was playing him albeit in rotation and he got unsettled early in season and it went away but then in February time it came back so I decided to get rid.

Started the season well with a successful transfer window bringing in Aouar for the challenge, Dembélé to start and also for some depth, and also Wonderkid keeper Donnarumma who should be very useful for the career. I also sold Higuain as I wouldn’t need him, Hourihane because I had to, Spinazzola and Perrin were also sold as they weren’t getting enough game time, I released a few players aswell.

 

I’m gutted, only 2 games in and he is already injured!

 

Half way through the season, top of the league, won the super cup, still in the other 2 competitions, everything’s going well. Houssem Aouar has played 23 games with 18 goals and 10 assists.

 

No new players were signed over January but I let Bernardeschi (£40m), Cerri (£17m), Rogéiro (£12m), Sturaro (£9m), all weren’t getting any games apart from Bernardeschi who was playing 1 in 2 and I wasn’t turning down £40m.

Sami Khedira has also been sold (as you can see he wasn’t being played)

Aouar had a decent start to the season (minus the injury) but started to slow the goal scoring and ended up with a total of 49 (29 goals/20 assists) from 50 games.

 

In the end we won the exact same competitions as last season, the difference being that we made the champions league semifinals and were knocked out by Real Madrid (I can’t seem to beat Spanish sides)

Great start to the second season.

Start of season 3 and I’ve signed Cristane (for the challenge) and Wolf.

In the January transfer window I bought a few younger players to bump up the size of the squad and also as they are cheap, Martinez Lopez was the best and cost quite a lot, I bought Elias Jesus and found that he wasn’t good enough so I sold him, The same happened with Garcia Toral.

Cristane got 50 points( 36 goals and 14 assists) which is ok but I expected a bit more from him.  I forgot to take a picture of how I did in leagues and cups so I’ll just write it- I won all the domestic stuff but got knocked out by PSG in the second round of the champions league. I just want to add that Shakhtar Donetsk got to the semi finals of the champions league as this probably doesn’t happen a lot.

End of the season and worst one yet with only winning the league, losing out on the two domestic cups. On the plus side, we got one stage further in the champions league getting to the quarter finals.

 

I didn’t do many transfers this season, just the ones for the challenge.

Bernardeschi had a positive season scoring 61 points (43 goals & 18 assists) he got injured a bit and also got one red so didn’t play as much as he could.

Start of season 5, the new number ten is West Ham’s Lanzini. I got the achievement ‘we owe you one’ or something like that which meant my next board request would be granted so I decided to expand the stadium from 40,000 to 50,000

I didn’t get the price I hoped for with Bernardeschi but atleast I got something. I brought  in Benkovic for £60 million as I found myself with no center backs. I also signed all Celso and Forestieri, two young defenders with decent potential.

At the end of the January transfer window I brought in Sessegnon for quite a bit of money, now I have 3 world class players for 2 positions so this might have been a mistake. Pjaca was sold so I could bring in another youngster (Paciencia)

I finally won the champions league in a very tough final vs Real Madrid which completed a very successful season with the first quadruple and only losing twice in the league.
