Great start so far. The Championship is a killer of a league, really stretches your squad with the games being relentless. Over 2 so far is very good.

It’s a cracking little challenge. Lovely change of pace from the long haul goal challenges.

If I can keep at over 2 gpg I’d be a happy man! 1.8gpg is my aim in any goal based challenge.

Let's see if you can hit over 3 goals per game

November

A relatively quiet month as we only have four league games to talk about this time. With three of those at home I was hoping to make this another excellent month.

Matchday Sixteen: Middlesbrough (H)

On paper this is probably the toughest match of the month. It looked like we were going to snatch all three points after Boyd and Wright’s first half goals, but Rudy Gestede rises above all in the 91st minute to net his second of the game in a pulsating 2-2 draw.

Matchday Seventeen: Nottingham Forest (A)

What should have been a pretty tasty three points turned into an absolute nightmare for me and the boys as we fall at Forest and receive our first loss of the season in the process. 4-2 the final score.

Matchday Eighteen: QPR (H)

We swiftly return to winning form as we mirror the last games scoreline. Wooten and Wright grab a goal apiece in another 4-2 thriller.

Matchday Nineteen: Derby County (H)

A brace by Wright and a goal apiece from Boyd and Wooten sees us score four goals for the second game running, our defence conceded twice in what turned out to be our third 4-2 scoreline in a row.

Fixtures

A mixed month, as we start off with a draw then followed it up with our first defeat of the season. Two wins on the bounce then reassured our credentials.

League Table

Despite the mixed bag of results, we find ourselves 12 points clear at the top of the table. With a hectic December looming where we have about 90 games to play, I’ll be glad of the points cushion we have.

A very small 0.03 improvement on last months total. The real test starts next month as we have seven matches to play. If I can come out of December on over two goals per game I’ll be a very happy man indeed.

Thanks mate, yeah same here. Although this year I’ve found that rubber banding tends to be at random stages and not during the winter months! Cheers for the comment dude

I think its one of the toughest leagues on the game if you don't get your squad right.

Cheers Ashez. The ratio is great at the moment, wether it’s like that at the end of the season we’ll have to find out.
