Tactics (Testers Needed) GLVTRN Double Barrel Defensive Issues

Hello! I need your help!

 

Been lurking around to test out some tactics posted here to refresh some ideas into mind. I created this tactic in mind of swarming the opponent in the box to obliterate the opposition. 

 

This has been my most consistent version that conceded the least goals. I tried to use the High Line, Closing Down All over and Committed Tackling but it yielded as many goals as I let past and scored.

 

For this to be updated as an actual tactic article here in which I will post the completed version, I need you guys to help me determine the problem and what do I need to change for this tactic to work as plug-n-play.

 

Notes:

The main goalscorer of this setup is the Poacher, followed by the Inside Forward and the Advanced Forward then the Winger

The main assist provider comes through the Advanced Forward and Advanced Playmaker

Does the goals you concede come from their left attacking side ? If you have a wb and af if going forward and a amp, who covers your left side in defence ? I have not testet it, but it looks open there

I placed the AP on the left as it was much more effective in the offensive end compared to the CM being on the left. I tried the WB to be FB but I still get shagged on the defensive end. Most of the goals conceded were from counters on the right side as I have noticed.

That's why I was here to share my tactic and to help me resolve this tactical conundrum. I am currently tweaking it as much as anyone would want to test this tactic out for themselves

How many goals were you conceding with this? I am currently trying a solution but I need to know how much i am improving the defense

 

Edit: I think I have this as somewhat plug in and play.

So far won the league with Hertha, won the A-league title with Newcastle Jets. Trying Rangers now to see how a half decent team does in the CL. Then finally I will be testing in a lower league.

Modded your tactic and tested it for plug and play ability.

Mods

I swapped the 2 forwards over and then the AP to the left. I dropped the CM into a DM role in order to cover that WB.

Results

Bundesliga (Hertha)

Good league campaign. Lost only one game.

A-League (Newcastle Jets)

A little tougher with more even competition throughout the league.

But champions nonetheless.

SPL (Rangers)

An easy league win.

And put up a decent fight with a far better Napoli side.

VNS (Dulwich Hamlet)

This tactic clearly works in the lower leagues too.

For reference, i made only 1 signing over the course of all 4 seasons. And that was to replace Selke at hertha due to his buy out clause.

No change to any instructions. All changes I made were with the formation and roles
