So I've decided to start an Ajax Career Mode, I hope you all enjoy and follow and guide me on this journey, ajax have a very good squad so if you can suggest players I should purchase or if you think I should not sign anyone as see where the first season goes then sign players.

Season One:

Transfers:

This season I felt like this was more of a test for me on my first career of FM19 so I decided to make no changes until January

Competitions:

We won the first stage on aggregate

But failed to turn up in the next leg.

We managed to advance on goal difference .

But a loss to lazio put us out of the tournament.

Conclusion:

Very disappointing season for me all 3 of our main attackers injured for 2 months at different times which affected my tactics.

We missed out on both Euro and Champions league so let’s hope for a better season.

Youth graduations ,

both look decent and 4 and half star potential each!

One of the worst first seasons I’ve seen in recent memory, fair play for posting it though as not many people would have.

How weren’t you sacked?

Yeah I know it was pretty bad but I post it so people give me tips and it is my first career however they were going to but I begged for the second chance option and thy pleaded due to my good “squad harmony”

however I felt I did really well at the beginning

It's actually refreshing to read somebody not winning absolutely everything for once!

I'm sure you'll improve during season 2, then have a proper crack at Europe in season 3. 👍

I love how you begged for a second chance and got it. I’m onboard in my support for you and it would be great if you could turn this around in the next season. 😀

Yeah I haven’t started yet I’m going to do more research on tactics and players to sign because I’m not looking to 7th place again and let’s just say if I lose 3 games I’ll be out of Netherlands quicker than a snap

Yes just take your time. You could have a look around the tactics section and it will give you a good idea of what tactics may work for you.

Found a new tactic and lets just say 8-0 in the first round of the Dutch Cup and only two loses which were 4-3

Season Two:

Im very impressed with my side , we absolutely smashed it!

So first we will do the Dutch cup we made it to the semi finals and this came up...

 

But we smashed then 3-1 and moved to the final where we ...

YES WE DID IT!

Moving on to the League, it all came down to the last game, AZ lost their second to last game which put us one point behind them and our last game was against AZ too, and we managed to

So not only did we make huge improvements from last season we managed to do a double stealing both the Dutch Cup and Eredivisie League from them!

I have a question I managed to get this youth player 5 star potential as shown below is there a special way for me to make sure he reaches that potential because they grow better with gametime and good coaches so should I promote him and use him or keep him in youth academy to let him play?

He’s absouletly mental 16 year old , 33 games 28 goals, and worth 10m at the age of 16 clearly going to be a world class player and he’s both footed!

So that’s our season two round up and I will be taking a sort of break until someone can answer about this youth player not letting him go in the dust !

Try and get the greatest training possible. Include him in games you don't really think are important but make sure u play him decently. Idk if the pros (Nucleus etc.) can give you anything else but thats wut I know.

Not a pro or anything but well done on fighting back and winning the league. In terms of your young striker, I’d say just play him as much as you can and I’d probably train him as a target man with focus on Aerial until his Aerial goes up to 20 as it seems to rise really quickly on this years game.😀

I agree with this. So many goals come from headers and your young prospect WILL score more goals if his aerial is high. I also agree with training as a target man, really effective.

Yeah it’s almost like a bug with the aerial going up so quickly but you might as well use it.

Good idea as the Target man training includes Aerial as one of the attributes trained so you’ll be doubling up on it with the focus being on aerial too. Good luck and I think he will turn into a great striker in a few years.
