Right, so this is the first career/challenge I’m posting on here so please forgive me for any mistakes, without further ado, let’s gte into the players!

Time/Green - Alessane Pléa - Borussia Mönchengladbach

A decent player with stats in the right areas, think he can grab some goals and assists for me.

Space/Blue - Lorenzo Insigne - Napoli

Not much to say, great player hooping to get a good points total with him.

Soul/Orange - Memphis Depay - Lyon

Have enjoyed him in my previous saves this year so wanted to give him a chance.

Reality/Red- Paul Pogba - Manchester United

Power/Purple - Ilkay Gündogan - Manchester City

Mind/Yellow - Marco Reus - Borussia Dortmund

Not a lot to say about the last three, everyone knows exactly what they are about and I’m hoping they can put up some big numbers for this challenge.

January Update

So, this is a lot harder than I expected. So credit to anyone that has done well in this challenge before. At the rate I’m going I’ll be lucky to score around 200 with the bonus points at the end. I’ve had a lot of injuries and so my players haven’t has as much game time as I had hoped. The team is doing well, only losing the TdC on penalties to Monaco so far, but the players (gems) aren’t producing as I’d hoped. My main problem is that I don’t have a goal per game scorer, which, after reading other attempts at this challenge, is vital. Oh well, let’s push on to the end of the season and see what score I can get!

End of Season

The second half started poor, two embarrassing exits from both the CL and French Cup to weaker opposition (Hoffenheim and Nantes) really set me back, obviously giving me less games than I had hoped. Considering this and my injury problems, my final score isn’t that bad.

Stupidly I didn’t pick a player young enough to win the YPOTY, but still a decent enough score for my first challenge here. I feel I’ve learnt a lot from this and I’m looking to do a longer save next, as they are my favourite to do. Anything you’d like to see let me know, thanks for taking your time to read this.
