Career Woody Tries For a TT!...in a sense!

Hi everyone,

this has been a challenge i've wanted to try for 3 years and i think i'm finally at a stage where i can give it a good try.

I'm not just going to try for the Triple Threat goal scoring challenge but i am throwing in 2 more to run along side.

we will be trying to get our chosen midfielder to smash his way through the Goal a Minute challenge and i want to try to  500 assists from our chosen wingers.

Your probably thinking at this point i'm over doing it but i wanted to keep it interesting to keep me motivated.

 

I'm being so original with my club of choice as we will be heading to Scotland to take control of...

That's right i'm being super boring and taking the reigns at Celtic.

 

I've also given my self another mini mountain to climb as one of my chosen 3 strikers will be a FREEBIE!!!

YES that's right one of my strikers starts the game as a free transfer.....

Those of you who know me well enough know that i like to go off piste with my player choices, there are some cracking players in this years game and with the new revamped training can be polished into diamonds.

Let me introduce you to a young lad who goes by the name Dominic Steczyk.

My two other choices are:

Odsonne Edouard

Pelayo Morilla

 

That's the strikers out of the way so who will i choose for the GaM part of our challenge. Well i've gone for a fellow who is already at the club and one i really like. He is....

Olivier Ntcham

 

So we need 2 wingers to supply the ammunition for these guys and they are:

The Spanish Christian Pavon....

Sergi Canos

and..

Lewis Morgan

 

So there we have it, now the introductions are out of the way i can show you how we did in season numero uno.

 

I went nuts on the transfers in the opening window as i know there are some great freebies to snap up and improve and to be honest most will be sold on for profit.

That's some crazy transfer business.

 

Our opening season went according to plan as we started with a 100+ GF column.

 

I wanted to dominate the domestic cups from the get go but unfortunately we only managed to win the Scottish Cup defeating Aberdeen in the Final.

Champions Cup didn't go so well as we failed to get past the group stage and once we dropped into the Euro Cup we only managed to reach the 1st knockout round losing to Sevilla on away goals.

That was a cruel, cruel ending to the 2nd leg!!

 

Now we get to the important part of the opening season and our challenges.

1st off its the GaM and Olivier Ntcham.

Olivier managed to notch himself an impressive 22 goals from central midfield.

 

But how many individual minutes did he knock off the 90? well he knocked off 18 of those minutes out of the 22 he scored.

Next we find out how the assisters did. Canos and our young Scot, Lewis Morgan did them selves proud as they produced a solid 49 assists between them. 

Not a bad start but i expect that to improve as we go forward.

 

So now we get to the main event and how our 3 strikers have done.

I wanted to get 90+ in the 1st season but seeing as we had a 16 yr old and a relative novice up front that could be tricky.

Well we actually managed to smash home a cool 96 goals between the boys which i'm very pleased with

 

TT Total: 96(1500)

Assist: 49(500)

Gam: 18(90)

So season one has come to a close and i hope you enjoyed it and i will have a season 2 update soon.

Ive wanted to use him for a while as ive had him as back up to Pavon loads of times.

Yay, a @Woody career!!!!

Great start and enough different challenges to:

a) Forget to take the right screenshots;

b) Generally forget what you are meant to be doing!

Loving the Spanish Pavon too.

Best of luck for season 2. Once that squad overhaul continues (ignore that meanie @Foxy - he doesn’t understand a good Harry Redknapping when he sees one) your squad will no doubt do much better in Europe too.
