I am slowly powering through my 1k challenge but must admit to having lost a little interest.

I have found myself staring various challenges and quickly becoming bored, I am still playing through my Aston Villa academy save but completely forgot to write it up  

I visited the site today and browsed through the challenges and remembered this one that caught my eye, so I booted up the game - signed the three players who I originally had in mind and here we go

So lets meet the fab three -

There was a BIG, Mario Icardi sized, sacrifice made to secure these three and I will be making a few more alterations to the squad to better fit my go to tactic, I shall cover that later

I'm going to try and complete at least season one by the end of the weekend and will update when I can

Pre-Season

Just the two games which didn't give me much to play with, but was enough to give some game time to almost my entire squad. It doesn't make to much of a difference as barring injuries I think I know my best 11.

We demolished Shakhtar at home, with a full strength side, and the squad players played out a decent draw away to Hoffenheim.

As always I try and bring in my own team of staff, who are as follows for this save -

And I was very pleased that the board, partly down to the funds raised by our star man Icardi, have upgraded our training and youth facilities to the highest available level.

Transfers

I always go a little crazy the first season so there were a few comings and goings

I'm pretty happy with the squad, so lets see how the boys get on.

And it wasn't to be - sadly my iphone 6 has joined the big phone scrap heap in the sky -and in my infinite wisdom I didn't save to the cloud - I shall however re-start this save as its an interesting challenge
